I'd be interested in hearing what they say also since I'm an INTJ. From what I remember reading we work well independently, are good at spotting patterns or trends, are future orientated, can think of multiple ways of doing things and get bored with or object to doing things the "approved" way, are relatively rare, and are not really "people" persons. |

In Japan, there are more INTJ CEO's than any other type. Again, INTJ's are needed for engineering, new ideas, process etc. I always wonder when people say they cannot be in a public position because they are introverted.
People who are introverted, do extravert and vice versa. I am an extravert who loves to read, I was at my office by myself yesterday and I got 16 hours of work done in about 8. We all need to use different sides of our personality throughout the day in order to be a complete human being.

I second really what you have written, Jean. I taught some private music lessons to a sixteen year boy that believed to follow only his attitudes and desires (he told me his parents told him to trust his brain) . At the end I asked him what could he gain from the lessons, if he did not try what I suggested him with 10 years of study, teaching, performing experience. If you like to learn and grow, you have to conquer a little bit of the skills more far from your natural abilities, that need to be developed as well. At the end we become a mix of ourselves and the family members, the teachers and the bosses or the coworkers that we admire really. Everyone needs also some luck as good will in the meetings life presents to us ! For our health BTD and who presented it us, as Dr D that has developed this theory, has been an important meetin and contribution ! Maria Giovanna |

I was wondering about that. I happen to be an engineer myself. Strangely enough however after the engineers took the meyer's-briggs only those who tested out as extroverts were chosen for leadership positions. That was also after they told us that the test would not be used for promotional purposes. |

Would like to go back to the original subject. Since taking on BTD I've become interested in the special characteristics of the blood groups personalities. An acquaintance of mine has been suffering from cardiac problems for many years. It's about a year that I have been nudging him to try and eat for his type, gave him LR4YT book etc. Yet he has no idea what's his blood type. My guess considering his personality has been that he would be AB (probably a nonny), and that's what I have been telling him over and over again. Yesterday I managed somehow, by God's miracle (well, it was immediately after Yom Kippur) to drag him to the blood bank, and to his and the lady-who-did-the-test's (and my...) surprise there it was: AB+. |
