I am an A blood type wondering where I can find out my MN status as well as whether I am A1 or A2. Will this test give my secretor status as well? I already ordered the secretor test and I am wondering if the subgroup test will also tell me if I am a secretor if I should send back this test and wait to take the subgroup test. |

Welcome to the BTD Forums. - If you click the Member Center button at the top of this page, then click Avatar Settings on the left side of the new page you will be taken to a page where you can select a blood type avatar. Having a blood type avatar is an easy way to share your blood type with other forum readers so that they can respond to you in a blood type appropriate way.
- You can add information below your avatar setting, such as Rh+/- and once you find out A1 or A2, MN blood typing information, by going to the Profile Information section in the Member Center and typing in the Personal Message box.
- You can also create a Signature of any other information you want to share that will go at the bottom of every message you post.
- I also encourage you to indicate your gender, age, and location in the world in the Member Center Personal Information section, Signature, or Personal Message box once again so that other members will be able to better respond to you.

If you are in the USA, then you can get a full serotyping done by the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. You can find the contact information on the website. Testing includes: ABO type A1 or A2 subtype Rh +/- Lewis type MN type You should probably make sure you have a way of getting the blood drawn before ordering the test kit. Some people have said they haven't found anyone to do it, at least without a doctor's lab order. |

Great that should be a big help. Does anyone remember what it costs? |

One more thing. Could anyone tell me where you got the name above the bow, the colored bow, and the symbol beneath it. Mine says Winter. Hidden Potential. by default. I can't seem to find it in the member section. |

Does the blood test sent in and analyzed by Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine include the secretor status? |

It does not include the saliva secretor test. Depending on your Lewis type they may be able to tell you your secretor type. If you are Lewis double negative (LDN), then secretor status can't be determined from the Lewis type blood test. |
