I think there is a problem......I THINK that the world war 2 generation created the hippies, with their insanely thoughtless flow of what they thought was productive discipline. what it did was trap the poor children into thinking they were somebody they're not. UNLESS, they went out and got high enough to fully understand who they really were. Here is why i think that the HIGH ones are not the lost ones: because my parents never got high, and I am telling you....they're minds are totally crippled. Their ability of judgement is so wacky, like somebody...get me some crack to help get over this!! I can scream and throw pool balls all over the house getting my O anger out, and they won't flinch a single cell in their brains behind those thick skulls. My mom's judgement is so distorted, she thinks I am being rude and over-aggressive when I say something silly, and keeps asking me to do something in the middle of a "chill" time. To the contrary, when I am ready to do something for real, she acts like there's nothing to do, apparently...trying to split my brain in half. My B dad on the other hand seems like he's trying to get worked up and get something out like an O, of course, his mother is an O. Of course, my mom is O, and she acts relaxed and calm when it seems like there should be something important to talk about, like an A, and her mother is an A. Not to mention as a final note, they can' even realize that they're not being themselves. somebody shoot me..............not to mention, my o brother is beginning to take on this personality type......makes me sick..........what sickness has protruded among people's lives all around me? I'm gonna vomit. |

i lived... very frustrated with my parents for a long time, and then is when.... my mother had good cholesterol and blood pressure readings, then i leave to college...... she gets higher..... big coincidence. i could feel such frustration every time I would come home just for a pleasant visit(like they would expect, of course). i have an idea.......don't fake smile, don't fake laugh, don't fake be happy. of course, i need to tell this to my parents, like they'd listen, oh yeah, like...sure, they will, they were raised by the superiors of the world(learn to hate hitler....then.... become hitlers yourselves by being like hitler to your own children) why i think you should not fake is because if you don't, it leaves so much room for future development. maybe desperation doesn't pay off. i was always considered the very angry grouchy one in my family, but of course i read in the forums here about O's who don't get they're anger out and have high blood pressure in the meantime. a good thing is my O little sister listens, maybe because 3 likes 2, im 2, she's 3. |

i think there is something, not good about society, in which it doesn't allow or encourage the proper release of anger. it's because of the way school is, i think. unadaptive, unresponsive, inactive, jerky businesses. i remember my senior year, my fine arts teacher said there should be 4 required years of PE instead of 2. I was like wow, totally. PE, i had more friends, better grades, and less depression. No PE, i had less friends, worse grades, and more depression. i don't even see why it shouldn't apply to all blood groups. of course, all schools serve crappy, greasy, non-organic variety not accustomed to blood type tastes. i think there should be 4 lines in a school cafeteria. then there's college cafeteria food, i need to get out of that whenever i darn well can.... here's something wrong with college: how come every degree takes exactly 4 years? i find that to be a very disturbing coincidence. if teachers and professors were properly concentrating on what really needed to be taught for what they're teaching for, then the times would be distributed randomly. this sickens me. |

I have recently come to my own gestalt moment regarding sugar. It totally messes with my emotional stability. Even too much fruit at once (like 2 servings), can be the catalyst that brings my emotions out of balance.
Since I have gone cold turkey off of all Avoids and Infrequent Neutrals (and this means giving up my beloved dark chocolate), I'm seeing a major difference in my ability to stay on an even keel emotionally.

even good fruit? i crave sugary fruit...at least it's the good simple sugars. i like organic pineapple juice, like i'll have 7 or 8 ounces in the morning, and then i can't stop thinking about it the rest of the day, even though i'll refrain from anything sugary for that time being. i'll alternate to grape or cherry. that sugary fruit juice is good. |

If you are dong 7-8 ounces of fruit juice, straight, you are getting way too much sugar at once. Dilute 50% at least with a bubbly water like Gerolsteiner. Have you at least tried the candida spit test, to see if you have candida? |

As an O nonnie I have learned that I cannot tolerate alot of fruit...even the beneficial. Except maybe bananas. They are more like a comfort food for me and keep me stable. The rest...I have to be really careful with. They send me off into a spin off of emotions and cravings. Like wheat, corn and sugar does. Getting your secretor status would be a good thing...finding out if you are a nonnie is a whole different ball game. Are you getting enough of the exercise that O's need. That really does put things back into place. Debra |

Hm, starting off the morning with cherries and green grapes and probably bananas. Am gonna keep an eye on mental health today.
I made an interesting summer drink last night out of brewed green tea, a little brown sugar, selzer water and grapefruit juice. It was actually quite nice, not too sweet.
comper, good luck with the tough time you're having, I know what it is to be an unbalanced O, believe me!! I suggest cut out wheat, minimize sugars and lots of physical exercise. Best of luck. |

fruit juice is fine first thing in the morning...need to replenish your glycogen stores which are at it's lowest in the morning...it's the other times of the day that it can cause some blood sugar problems |

So comper, from what I understand, your anger is from your parents' inability to parent you correctly.. is that correct?
Some questions:
1. How old are you? 2. Do you go to school or do you work? 3. Do you live at home with your parents or are you on your own? 4. Why do you think your mother is silent while you have temper tantrums?
I am just curious why you are still angry at your parents if you are an adult?

Thank you mikeo. I am finding that I am really sensitive to fruit juice. If I have it, I crave it the rest of the day. I might try to do some blueberries in the morning, before I have one of my two big meals and see how it goes. Just not ready to try fruit juice yet. |

Do the candida spit test I linked to in one of my above posts. Information is power. Once you know if you have it or not, you can proceed with strategies to balance that issue in your body. |

I may be wrong, but I'm thinking that its a carb....carbs induce seratonin, which is one of the problems....we get hooked on things that induce seratonin....but it also can help with insomnia... |

comper,
I would recommend a book by Nathaniel Branden, called "The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem".
There's also a pretty radical and hilarious book called "Thou Shalt Not Think", by David Jack. |
