Years ago around the time ER4YT was published I recall D'Adamo talking about type O rh negatives potentially being the most allergy-sensitive of all the blood groups - there was even something about how rhesus negative might've been an adaptation allowing the offspring of a diabetic parent to better survive - or something like that.
I know O negatives are to get less grain (if any) than O positives, but just curious - any interesting gems of widsom in the last year or two from Dr. D. about O negatives' peculiarities (or for that matter about Rh negatives of any blood group - but please specify in your answer whether you're referring just to O negatives or to all rh negatives, thanks).

Not one of those links mentioned anything about type O negatives being highly allergy sensitive.

Could it have been O non-secretor? Sounds like it to me.
Non-secretor babies do have a slight advantage as well, in cases of maternal-fetal blood type incompatibilities. |
| Type O+ blogger, secretor afterall. Gluten intolerant. With two gluten intolerant sons:  A+ Secretor 10 yo (also fructose intolerant and slightly egg allergic), and  O- 7yo. |

researchingthings. you might want to follow the guidelines given in the allergies book....... they are definitely more targeted. |

Nope, this was before there was all that work on non-secretors. (Today, while I can't say for sure, D'Adamo might say something like O neg nonsecretors are the most prone to (whatever) - but this was before he'd done as much research on nonsecretors - he meant just RH negative, as I recall.) |

I believe Dr. D'Adamo was incorporating non-secretor issues in his practice long before he even mentioned it in his first book. It's mentioned in the back of ER, page 364, Appendix E.
Quoted Text
More than 90 percent of all factors associated with blood type are related to your major ABO type. There are, however, many minor blood subtypes, most of them play insignificant roles. Of all the subtypes, only three will have any impact on your profile or affect your health and diet. I mention them only because they occasionally pop up as a useful refinement in your health plan. But let me stress: Knowing whether you are Type O, Type A, Type B, or Type AB is the only blood type information you really need.
The three subtypes that play minor roles are:
Secretor/Non-Secretor status Rh Positive (Rh+) and Rh Negative (Rh-) The MN Blood Group system.
Dr. goes on to talk about the Rhesus system, and it's impact on mother's and babies. He does not mention anything about allergies. |

But he's had a Website for many years, and there he did mention allergies in relation to O negative. |
