I was wondering if anyone knows if being RH- is considered overall to be a disadvantage from a health stand point? While reading the Blood Type Encyclopedia, I noticed that there are several bacterial and viral diseases that being RH- greatly increases your risk. As far as bacterial goes, being RH- puts you at greater risk of contracting Tuberculosis and Typhoid. On the viral side, Mono and Mumps are more likly to affect RH- people.
On the other side of things though, as far as cancer is concerned, I understand that some studies have put RH- people at an advantage as far as their immunity in that they have found a higher natural NK cytotoxicity against target cells. |

That's interesting. I missed those points in the Encyclopedia.
All I know is that my diet is a bit more like a nonnie because of my Rh status. Less grain, more protein servings. |

Quoted from shells
My guess is that it would make them a super nonnie. By BTD principles rh neg makes no difference if one is A or AB as far as meat/fish servings are concerned,(I have never understood why this makes a difference for B'sand O's, but not for A or AB), but we are to decrease the number of starch/grain servings. My diet is nothing like the A nonsecretor diet due to rh neg and nonsecretor. |

So does this mean that an O Rh- secretor is the same as an O Rh- noni ? |
