Thanks, Jenny, Were the veggies and the lamb left uncovered the whole time? |

Yes, I think so. And I would have turned them over once or twice during the cooking, but it was a no fuss process that turned out perfectly as it happened. Go fo it. Jenny |

YUM! I'm a mean hand with the gravy Jenny should you ever need assistance in that department..it goes without saying..I'm VERY helpful around gravy made with lamb juices. I'm seriously like.. voracious dog-around-the-campfire-scrapping for the gravy. There have been times when I ..like.. INSIST people start dinner without me. Why is that? Hubby -wondering where I have disappeared to - has found me on all four paws possessively licking the roasting pan clean in the kitchen. As you do. I growled at him something recognisably human like "don't leave the guests alone ..mind your manners...what sort of a host are you..." I exaggerate. But yes I do lick the gravy left in the pan...please don't hold it against me because if I didn't do it my husband would get at it first. And he's an O! Nuff said! Now then Equipro...I believe that may be an insight into AB competitiveness you can use! Dear Victoria, so true. Tomatilla and Jen, thanx dears! eh madgex |

So cute to read this thread three years on........ last night I made a very similar meal with a big lump of maryland cut turkey and all the vegs. I left the cooking pan overnight with some plain water in it for soaking off the brown bits, and by the morning have a wonderful accidental broth which will be the basis for today's soup. |
