Something of a setback, but thanks for prayers and well-wishes. Still on a healing curve. Thanks, Bs, et al. |

Thanks, but ain't nothin' speedy about it. I've been advised, too, to expect more of a Long Haul. I just added iron to my program, and I think it's helpful (iron is seriously depleted by the cytokine storm and was prescribed while I was in hospital, though I was not told to keep taking it at home). It seems to be important, as ever, to keep reading and learning about one's own state of health, so as to manage it, as ever, oneself! |

Just got a phone call from the doctor. I have to go back on a brutal antibiotic - a culture came back positive: I acquired an infection from instrumentation in the ICU. But this doctor was cool: "I want to make sure you're taking a probiotic, too. Something with Lactobacillus."
The beat goes on...
I do have more and more energy - but we'll see how I take to this drug. I started taking another drug 5 days ago, too and have accordingly added more supplements to my program. One could attend to one's medical condition Full-Time under the circumstances. There's a lot of study involved, just to stay on top of it. And more appointments. |

Hey there, B's! Three months since the last post on our Family Board, so: What's shakin'? What sorts of B discoveries are being made? How are independent, quirky, colorful B's expressing themselves in the world, in July 2012? Hitch up your camel and squat by the desert fire. Tell your stories. |

Well I am gone into the jungle aka my garden Still broke- un emeployed and slightly fed up with turning 40 BUT hey I am a surviver -things will turn out to the best eventual. I am 100 % sure. It is B food time here in Denmark ; watermelons, new peppers etc has just arrived - and I tend to eat dinners with cheese Broccoli, cabbage and new carrots and beets from my own garden- what is not to like On the mental part I seem to indulge in liberary books- so good to get away from the real world If it stops beeing unsteady weather( read havey showers) - I might light a bunfire in the back of my garden and sit in the bright summer nights with dog and child( young lady) and watch the flames. |

Garden, fire, starlight -- Wonderful! Peppers? A bonus! Library books? Home Run (American baseball term)! Now: What breed of dog do you have? (Just so my B visualization can get a better grip) |

Just went to my youngest nieces wedding. I remember buying her pink princess tennis shoes when she turned two. The food? Eh, what can you expect? She did have cheesecake for a wedding cake and there was brisket and sweet potatos. I've got 4 watermelons to pick tomorrow. Maybe some cukes and figs. |

Isa that sounds so good looking forward to pictures. I am pretty selfsuffiecient with eggs,honey- most veggies and the majority of my fruit ( just noticed that cherries are almost ready ) I do grow lots of herbs as well. I wish so much that I could find a job that made the bank happy and left me time to grow my food however doesn´t look like that -or I have to get a rich husband in 40 year b-day present |
