ease into BTD, it needs to feel comfortable, not stressed!

swami can wait, if at all......you will do just fine following the LRFYT book or any of the more targeted health series books......

Thanks Lola, I think your right SWAMI can wait. I need to really give the BTD a go for a year and see how I go healthwise, then make an informed decision.

I have also read on other blogs that people have had both the saliva secreter test and the Lewis Blood Group test to confirm their secreter status. Would you recommend that I do both? Are the results of the saliva test not definitive?

And some of us will keep these dadamo Home Fires burning.
Thanks for pulling up this lovely thread (part II)
It was, for years, The Place To Be for Bs right here on the website, to check in and say hello, without dealing with such other sites, without leaving The Forum here. (It's why it's so long.)

Very, very nice to have it back --- Thanks!

Hey, gcg.
I actually recently read most of B & Individuality II AND its predecessor, B & Individuality.
I think it manifests a very special spirit -- something, in fact, that hasn't been around here in years.

I, also, have never registered on facebook.

Aside from gcg:
I invite any and all Bs to look at this thread and its predecessor; we had some lovely B-Family times gathered round this fire!

The first post in B & Individuality, posted by yours truly on 5 March, 2005, can currently be viewed with that thread, through the Message Board in the "Library" category, under "Golden Threads".

You can really smell the desert fire, the coffee brewing, the goat-hair tent flapping in the wind... We've had some good times, B's have, in our migrations...

Check 'em out!

Lola: Gotcha.
gcg: No need to steal: There are enough to go around.

Kristin, Henriette, Ellie, Betul, Schluggel, New Hampshire Girl, Half of IsaManuela...
Many's the night we hobbled the camels and watched shooting stars from our oasis, bright yellow flags flapping in the firelight, and spun our yarns...when B was simply B, no one was 32% this or 40% that. We hashed out preferences in everything from colors to sports, we discovered outrageous commonalities...those heady days...

Ah yes, and full fat yogurt!!  I love those shooting stars and I can hear the yellow flags flapping even as I type.  One thing I have always been happy about and that is the fact I know when to regroup.  I always thought of it as my mental health time-out.

Was just browsing the Latest Posts page and found something interesting:

While one of the post titles relates to Type A,
and six relate to Type O and two of its genotypes,
SEVEN relate to Type B and one of its genotypes!
What happened to B as a rarity?
Didn't look, but maybe there's a highly extraverted B in our midst, posting up a storm!

In a world in which we Bs are such a minority, it's interesting to see a Board with more specifically B-related questions than even O ones. Must be a newbie around with lots of questions. Maybe I'll look more closely...

What's cookin', gcg - Are you smokin' stuff, canning stuff, roasting stuff, or what?

Spent late monday night in the ER. I had a nosebleed that I couldn't stop for 2 1/2 hours. So till this tuesday afternoon I have to wear and inflated baloon in my right nostril with the tube dangling out and taped to my face. That makes my head, sinuses and teeth hurt. I've been despising daytime television.
