Oh, Kristen, could you list some of those fruits that changed from neutral to beneficial on the SWAMI program? Thanks!

honeybee, I edited your recipe, thanks for submitting it! check it out and let me know if it needs more tweaking done.
thanks Lola! perfect. BTW how do you find out which ingredients are: "may be high in pesticides." ? I have seen this in the recipe base but can not figure out what ingredients it refers specifically, is there a way? It is the same with he mold issue- some foods are more prone to mould? Is their more info on that? |

hmm so are all of those fruits beneficial for all B's now?
and I would appreciate if anyone could give me tips on possible reasons why I've gained at least 8lbs since I began the diet. Lately I've been paying much closer attention to the frequencies. I go to a kinesiologist who uses muscle response testing and I asked if he would be able to do that to tell me whether I was a secreter or nonsecreter. He told me I was a secreter but I'm thinking I should take the secreter test to see if thats right. I'm not sure if maybe I could be a nonsecreter and I'm following the wrong frequencies. Is it also a correct assumption to say nonsecreters tend to have more health issues because I've certainly had my share and I'm only 20. Sometimes I feel its so young to have my body become so unbalanced. Are there any indications that that point towards being a nonsecreter? I'm not sure whether I should follow these values until I get the test results. Any input would be great :O) thnx |

how do you find out which ingredients are: "may be high in pesticides."
perhaps doing a search will take you to different threads mentioning this issue, to build your own idea. during IFHI 2007, Dr Kelly gave us an interesting talk on this. Dr. Crinnion said that 90% of the pesticide load on bell peppers could be washed off using vinegar. Washing with vinegar might work OK for other smooth skinned produce like apples and cherries too. http://www.dadamo.com/ifhi/2007/crinnion.htm

Can I ask what the SWAMI program is?
Quoted Text
Dr. D SWAMI = Serotyping With Advanced Modifying Inventories
The SWAMI is a sophisticated diet collection and display software program written by me, Dr. Peter D’Adamo. SWAMI allows you to add a significant number of new variables to the basic blood type diet values and output the results via an incredibly detailed and versatile printout. SWAMI essentially creates a printable version of one of my commercial diets (such as the Live Right For Your Type diet) that is much more person-specific.

Please notice that the list of highly sprayed fruits and veggies differ from country to coutry... The american and the danish list I have has LOST in common - but also a few differnces Like broccoli is often sprayed a lot I just go for organic veggies and fruit 90 % of the time. Things like apples and strawberries are always very sprayed. The fruit and veggies that are very sprayed in our country are especially Dutch, Spanich and French produce while Scandinavian; English and Italian produce seem to have less pesticides at least when you look at some of the tests the danish authaorities do- but even a danish apple is spatyed so many times that it makes me I got some spanish red peppers the other day- normally I don´t buy produce from Spain unless it is organic... and I could litteraly see the pesticides on the fruit |

Uhhh... no, they aren't. Some may be beneficial for you... but that depends on a combination of factors. The SWAMI program is more of an individualized approach to the basics of the BTD. For me, it allows a few more food choices in the beneficial range and more specifics on why certain foods are beneficial or avoids. In general, I think the SWAMI program moves some neutral foods to the beneficial status, perhaps a few neutral foods to the avoid status... and maybe even some foods from avoid to neutral or even beneficial depending on certain health conditions but I think that case is rare. The latter did not happen for me except for miso, but only miso that is not soy. And I have yet to find any miso which is devoid of all soy. |

In the chart that shows for which types each ingredient is beneficial, neutral, avoid, there is also a column with numbers that refer to the notes. In the attached example, anything with a 3 in the notes column may be high in pesticides. http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/recipedepictor7x.cgi?475 |

The miso I used to eat was 'unpasteurized certified organic brown rice miso' and it contains 'whole soybeans, brown rice, salt, water and koji seed'. |

Hey there, y'all. Here I am for the first time since 11 december. Thought I'd blog and check in with the clan. I have to say, it's hard to catch a quick glance of what's currently on the Forum, with this new format. But, yeah, I blogged, about peppers. I assure you I handwrote at least 50 blogs during the past several months, but I still don't have a computer (!) and there are reasons it's hard to get to one... I'm so glad to have been able to share one of the many thoughts I've had about BTD with you today. I am marketing it BIGTIME here in San Francisco and, via telephone, all over the world. Even people who'd been resistant for years have recently, on their own, found out their bloodtypes and jumped on the bandwagon. I'm happy for them and encourage them as best I can. I'll go into more detail another time. Leave a comment if you like the Blog... Luv y'all, or almost all...? Me

Hi B-Buddies! I see that some of you are, like me, nomads. This is the second time I'm coming on the Forum in August. And then not at all since April, and then not since 12/07. But I'm diggin' the Nomad thing, but still thoroughly hooked on Be-ing (B), anthropologically speaking. Anyway, I've got some very, very cool blogs to share with you, but there's a technical problem (at least one, maybe two) at my author-space, and as soon as it's fixed, I will be able to put 'em out there. Keep cool, clanmates. Hey: Great Idea: Calling all B's: Check in here and let us know your GT, even if it's in your bio-box. Let's get the lay of the land here!
