B secretor is what I am, and I feel great about it. Wide choices and solid health prospects -- except for the "weird" stuff. But weird suits us B's to a tee. Weird and wonderful!!

It would be easier if my husband (an 0) and I were the same BT but I don't have a problem with being a B. Actually, I think it offers the best food choices. Aside from giving up crab, shrimp and lobster

Well I still pick B secretor- but I must admit I am happy about my new meatlist as a swami explorer ; beef, veal and turkey are superfoods or diamonds
- a lot easier than just the weid B meat.
AND chocolate is a diamond -I must be in heaven

I have no idea if I'm a secretor or a non-secretor..... I'm still waiting for my test, but I'm hoping it's Secretor.

Other than that I adore my blood type and probably would have cried if I found out I was any other because of how much I love my red meat.

I am new to this forum and this diet. As you can see I am AB negative non secretor. Am I as rare as they say I am?
I guess the diet is not that bad just a matter of learning new recipes.
I am fighting cancer so hopefully with the grace of GOD and this new life style I will live a longer than what the doctors are thinking. Would be interested in chatting with anyone who is going thru the same thing and how this diet is working or not working. I have decided for the moment not to do more chemo. Had 40 radiation treatments and doing chemo at the same time. Finished that in June and now have a new spot on my long positive and they want me to do more chemo have not made a decision  yet about that am waiting till after the holidays. Giving this diet a chance to see what if any changes have accured.

Had ovarian cancer in 98 stage 3 did chemo 2001 had to do another year of chemo and now in 2009. MY ovarian cancer metastisized to my sternum and had cancer on the left side of my neck(lymphnodes)and left tonsil this is where I received my radiation which now this has moved to my lung. So much for all that radiation. The radiation has really messed up my eating, talking, and swallowing habits not to mention always feeling like I have a stuffed up nose all the time.

I am also taking supplements so this is where I am at. I have a very strong Faith in God and know He will be with me no matter what the out come. So this is where I am at, at this stage in my life. Nice to meet you all.

Certainly!! Sorry to hear the difficulties you are enduring regarding your health, but your words indicate that your spirit is shining through and you have certainly come to the right spot to embark in a journey that will, definitely lead you to better status of health, naturally.

Is there any possibility that you could see Dr D, arrange an appointment and  get his direct advice?  If not, have you checked the cancer protocols on line and or  read  and follow the 'Cancer, fight It with the Blood Type diet' book? Also, as Lola suggested, have you worked out what your Genotype may be?

We are all sending lots of positive energy your way and will provide as much helpful information as we can.  Let us know what you want to know and you will get lots of helpful people from all over the world to answer.   Here is to a speedy recovery and welcome to the forum!

AB negatives are considered 'royalty' by another one on this forum. So for you to be also a nonnie makes you head of the UN - probably better. Being a Proverbs 31 woman makes you tired!! Welcome aboard!

I'm A+ (no idea yet about the whole A1, A2, or Lewis type yet, no idea to go about it really) and most importantly NON-secretor.

I would *LOVE* to be a B secretor, heck even an A or O secretor would be better than being a NON-secretor anything.  Can you tell I'm miserable?

I'd stick with O sec. I love exercising and then there is all that meat, fish and egg to eat afterwards. Life is simple. What more would I want

I am A+ non secretor.  I am very healthy overall, and i like it that A's can have coffee and red wine.  I wonder what it would be like to be me but as another blood type. I

As an explorer, i can exercise like an O.  It levels me out and detoxifies me.

Perhaps being a secretor would be easier.

Yeah, being an A non secretor means i need to be extra aware of how i treat my body,  Luckily, i like to exercise and eat pretty healthy overall.  I used to smoke cigarettes in college, but quit for good!  I do not drink excessively.  A's are most sensitve overall it seems, and so are nonnies!

It seems like O secretors probably would be the most durable blood type.  I am tough, but very sensitive to chemicals and the like.  I even need to watch medicines i take so that it doesn't hit me too hard or have unexpected or even opposite effects.

I chose exactly what I am. A positive/secretor
I don't understand why O and B are the most popular?
Why are they better than an A? I must be missing a health link?
