Probably has a lot to do with AGE's and oxidative stress. Depending on who you are.

Considering that as you get old changes in Methylation can become cancerous...

Brings a bit of a spotlight to Dr. D'Adamo's Geno-Harmonic food combinations! Some of which specifically address methylation while others specifically address things that affect methylation like AGE's. Speaks volumes about how your "problem" may not be addressed effectively by a one-size-fits-all; one treatment for several different precursors?
