Not all titanium dioxide is in the form of nanoparticles. I know the nano version is popular in sunscreens because it's invisible, yet still blocks UV rays. In mineral makeup, the bluish/purplish color would be desirable, so it's likely to be NOT nano-particles but the normal sized molecules.

Give DPN an email or phone call about the titanium dioxide in the CLA. It may not be the dangerous nano-kind.
