Stumbled upon this.

Are there other drugs that increase other patterns?  Is "Tweak the Genotype of you child" a new twist on designer babies?

surely the advice wouldn t be physiologically specific, like Dr D s......

they have a long way to go for that type of specificity

I am just wondering how long before the concept of selling epigenetically designed babies comes to the pill pushing crowd.

Quoted from Pubmed
Dermatoglyphics in offspring of women given gamma globulin prophylaxis during pregnancy.

This drug seems to increse loops and whorls.

I'm presuming that they didn't drug these pregnant moms randomly, but medicated them for pre-existing medical problems. There's no control group of women with seizure disorders who were not medicated, or of healthy women who were medicated (neither one of those would be ethical, would they?)

There's really no way to know whether the medication induced these fingerprint changes, or if the underlying medical condition induced these changes.
