My PCP is an osteopath and she RECOMMENDED I see a naturopath for my family heart health history. My OB/Gyn, who prescribes bio-identical hormones, as I was suffering terribly from hormonal issues is totally into natural health. I was referred to her by my PCP. My cardiologist seems to have a foot in both doors. I had to put my foot down with her to not take a statin, but she is sending me links about natural remedies and foods to help lower LDL and I am sending her links. I think she is on board as well. I chose my physicians very carefully! I took my PCP's advice seriously and I am a patient of Dr. Nash's now as well.  |

I will be carefully looking for doctors who are qualified in complementary medicine in the future. I'm not on ANY medications, and I plan to keep it that way. adding...by "medications" I mean pharmaceutical company products. I do drink peppermint tea. |
