Hi! Long time no talk. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm fine, mostly . . . a little off my eating . . . but mostly OK. I found this on Independent News and thought that it fit in with what Dr. D is already doing. So they are finally starting to catch up. For your reading pleasure. http://www.naturalnews.com/028454_nutrigenomics_disease.html |

There is mention of prop tasting in the reference link at the bottom of the article, however, a noticeable omission of blood type in both articles. Is it deliberate? hmmm. I wonder how many people know that blood type is a gene. I certainly didn't know before reading the BTE. If that simple connection were made in these types of publications, a lot of lights would go on. |

I just bumped in a page of a company that offers to make you a nutrigenomic profile here in my country. For the "All inclusive" package they charge 300 USD (200 EUR) and for the Delux package (that also includes the analysis of more than 60 genes that define your ability to detox of environmental toxins, degradation of alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, sugar and fat metabolism, the functioning of the heart and vascular diseases and predispositions for certain diseases )they charge 740 USD (500 EUR). They include the blood test (A,B,O), secretor and non secretor and the genotype analysis. So basicaly they are offering what Dr. D offers + some extras for a huuuuuge price. And you get one print out and a couple of hours of personal consulting. I am almost sure that they use the Swami Geno Type to do the "All inclusive" package. Here they say why nutrigenomics is better than all the other diets. http://www.nutrigenomika.info/NP_primerjava.htmlThey say that the BTD does not take into account: - your innate epigenetic survival program - the current state of the organism - proper food combining for efficient digestion - body sculpting / selective weight loss diet And the GTD does not take into account: - the current state of the organism - proper food combining for efficient digestion - body sculpting / selective weight loss diet And they say that heyr sistem provides all that and more. I translated the page with google so you can read more if you want: http://bit.ly/m8hgrLAll in all they give you the same as Swomi but the price is enormous. What do you think? |

They are springing up all over the world. Dr. D's SWAMI is simple and elegant it does not require a load of testing. It is also very cost effective at $70.00 for a lifetime it can not be beat. These other companies will try but but in the end they will be too expensive for most consumers. |

I am having a little problem with the language (I am using auto translate).
But clearly the site is using material from both Blood Type Diet and GenoType diet. Including logos developed by D'Adamo.
They link you to right 4 EU to buy the D'Adamo supplements and books.
The site is run by Natasha Klarič.
Natasha Klarič is an MIFHI practitioner. (I do not know her, but others will)
While $70 is bargain for those who choose to do SWAMI on their own. Many people benefit from the added services and expertise that an MIFHI practitioner provides. But one does need to pay for those services.

she might be running the swami pro program and giving it a twist..... thanks for the heads up I personally find her sales strategy very dishonest..... but as always, perhaps it s just me who perceives this person as a charlatan credentials and all....... |

I know that a friend of mine went and bought the all inclusive package a year aggo or so. She sayed she went and there was a guy and asked her alot of questions and then he told her what she was supposed to eat to loose weight. She has weight issues and a theroid problem. They took her saliva to determin if she was secretor or not (gave her a print out - i am not sure of that) and told her they'll contact her when they get the results of the saliva test. But she sayed they never contacted her. She says now she should call them at leas to know if she is secretor or not. Since she is trying to get back on the diet again. All in all when I asked her if it was worth the money she sayed absolutelly not. If you have the book you already know what you are supposed to eat and how you should exercize and they don't tell you much more. This is just her point of view. Maybe other people had a good experience. In fact I know she went there because a friend of hers told her to go because she was so satisfied of the results. But, unlike me friend, her friend did know nothing about Dr. D's diets. Mybe that's why she was so thrilled. I'd realy like to see the printout if they gave her one. I have to call her and ask. Maybe if you pay the extra money to get the Delux package (because they do the analisis of the genes) might make a difference but the price might not be worth it. Well at least not with my income |

BS and more BS. if they were so good, and such a great value, they needn't have to knock other systems or ways of doing things. But this behavior seems like a genetic construct to separate those ideas of long-standing nature (tolerant of others) and all the other fly-by-night operations (knock the competition). |

"current state of the organism": IS taken into account in GTD and certainly in SWAMI (basically, the further customization of the GTD to the individual level). It is all about epigenetics! "proper food combining": is utter shullbit, imho, for the most part. As long as you are eating the right foods for your genetic hard-wiring and individual specs, both genetic and environmental/situational, it is hard to combine them "wrong". That said, Dr. D DOES go into a bit about food combining in the GTD. "body sculpting/selective weight loss": When you eat and exercise right for your type, you will NATURALLY lose the weight in healthy proportions throughout your body. Let your BODY decide that, not some company using trendy phrases like "body sculpting" and "selective weight loss". I'm sticking with the GTD and Dr. D, all the way. To the top of the pops! I've lost 85 lbs and I'm still losing (now trying for 90 and may end up going for an even 100 before all is said and done). Dr. D's work is the real deal, not some over-priced diet using trendy phrases to reel people in. |

I wonder if we should be so harsch at immitators-- after all some work, and even some study went into the becoming of on 'expert'.. travel time and the desire to create a business model is another explainable expense that somehow has to be paid for.. IF a person also adds his or her own previous or subsequesnt education.. like RETRAINING what Neutritionalist's would have to do, well that also is expencive..
Dr D. is generous insofar as he was able to sell millions of books and started millions of people on a way of healing their own body for the price of open mindedness, learning and willingeness to try.. See how newbies are blown away by the results.. should Dr D. get credit, yes indeed! Will the wolrd do it?.. Maybe after his death.. Trailblazers, Artists are seldom recognised before they die..
I think coming across the books by Dr D. is like finding the first printing press .. the world is never quite the same after that.. There is hope and there is knowledge and there is opportiunity to take from his work and adapt it.. Should one feel frustrated, I think one can and will when others adapt your ideas and skill sets.. Some experience agrandizement by the mere charging of lots of money, some are are affecting it by name recognition (like Trump) some are more appreciated because of the address, while others just dabble, or work hard in making a living.
Dr D. in sharing his world and coming 'here' is the treasuretroph we all benefit from.. in a few decades after we are all gone from this world, they will speak of him as a 'God'..
It's like seeing the work that is left by the cities and rulers like lets say CLEOPATRA -- AFTER she was gone - she became bigger then life..
Dr D's 'knowledge base' will be recognised as something like that.. The adaptation of a complete work - BTD - GENO - SWAMI is bigger then any monument. He made the work so explicit that any one of us who ( like me, basically where ignorant about food values) and yet, HERE we are able to spout words and some knowledge to newbies as if we where educated by the BEST PROFESSOR years into ADVANCED schooling. Dr D's ability to fomulate the words and pages that would make his learned work come alive for any person that read it is by it self, on its own, a MIRACELOUS achievement..
Please show me one more such complete and compelling work .. yes indeed there are some.. but for our time Dr D and his word in print is bigger then any that came before..
Should others remake it into something that feeds their ego and their pocketbook, so be it.. should they acknowledge what they have done to improve on a business model so be it.. should they ever be in a circle of like minded people, then ask them how they are doing.. ask them how many millions they have helped.. ask them if they have added to what the world understood about food or health .. and if they help someone along the way with spending some time to hold their clients hand, to teach, to create a form, or suggestions, mixed witht their own learning, then so be it.. in 100 years it will not matter, but the books of Dr D. will live on.. the GENES affected by 'his' monumental work of original discovery and teachings will be enourmous!
I don't fear for Dr D.. .... When I was first signing up for the Geno Newsletter (long ago through the publisher) I was thinking it expencive, but if that had not been there, I might never have found my way back here..(I was 'lost' to the second edition of BTD Chat site due to my own dummmbness computerwise) yet that newsletter told me that I am Gatherer.. and if that was the only thing I paid for IT was worth it!
Money is on issue. .. I spent mine on my friends kids and their education, so I am glad I don't have to pay more for BTD/GENO/SWAMI .. yet, I am grateful that every so often I can send a book to someone for the pleasure of raving about Dr D. and hoping that with it the recipients will benefit as much as I have from Dr. Peter D'Adamo. Thanks to 'THE' Doctor, thanks to the Man, and thanks for his Intelect that makes it possible, even for me, to learn and appreciate! (sorry for grammar) |
| When I see other peoples medicines schedule-I am happy to be here taking care of my health I only wish to drop weight more easily-life would be perfection Being 'here' creates understanding. BTD prevents damage from eating avoids. Thanks Dr D & your sups - all support and friendships |
