Karen, if you go up the page to Online Support, then to Health Protocols, then Chemotherapy, you'll see that probiotics is recommended for each blood type.
Not sure if that's what you were referring to.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for.  Searched on this website and can't find a chemo/pbx
discussion on this forum specific to chemo NEEDING pbx to work......but doesn't mean it's not here....Just sharing this info in the meantime.

Thanks BCgal and Chloe. Those links were not what I was originally looking for but they are very helpful. I will pass this information along to someone who is undergoing chemo and radiation for bladder cancer.

We're suffering through the throes of someone going through this awful disease too. His "count" is down through the floor at this point and not able to take the last treatment of his first round of chemo. Wonder of wonders, but not to all of us, he feels great! And it is because he is on a regimen of organic food, drinks and supplements that would almost bring the dead back to life. He has SWAMI, and he is 100 percent compliant. For the life of me I can't think of his doctor's name, but he is well acquainted with Dr.D's work and has done a tremendous amount of research on his own. I do hope your acquaintance beats this disease.

Thank you Spring.  I hope so too.  I'm glad your friend has good nutritional support. That is such a huge advantage.

Some people just don't understand food chemistry and it's relationship to health.  If their doctor tells them the cancer can be treated with chemo, they believe that is the answer. This person is very caring and always puts others before himself.  It will be very difficult if this cancer wins but we have to be at peace with his decisions.

Good news! Our friend's count shot up to 4.5 so he is all set for his next round of chemo. What a relief! He is downing high powered drinks in addition to his very strict diet. The drinks have a big dose of probiotics in them plus he is taking them in capsules. No veggies are steamed more than 4 minutes. Everything organic, of course. He eats piles of them every day. He is a SWAMI Teacher secretor. His practitioner has never lost a patient yet who had bladder cancer.

The decision to agree to chemotherapy was a very, very hard one for our friend to make. He had always had a horror of it because of what he had seen happen to others through the years. But none of those people were on anything close to the regimen he is on, and they took very different types of drugs. His cancer rating was at the highest level and very aggressive so he hardly had any choice. The doctors didn't dare do the surgery to remove the bladder without doing the chemo first because of the fear that it would spread like wildfire. They are very supportive of him continuing the diet/supplement regimen he is on. The good news is that he feels wonderful!
