Patients with valley fever inhale spores, get very sick, and sometimes the infection spreads to the CNS.  It's being reported now on NPR.  I'll post a link to the podcast later.

No treatment for advanced cases and high likelihood of misdiagnosis is a scary combination.

My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant.  Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index.  DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer.

go for or propolis intake and/or prevention and then some healing mushrooms like Cordyceps or Chaga  might do the trick as well ...or as being an O olive leaf should be fine as well ...wish you all the best and don't worry ther's always a solution and a treatment

Oh, sorry, I do not have this condition, except maybe in my imagination!

Here is the link, which I'll put into my first post, too.

Nevertheless, I am thinking of the day in October when I inhaled a lungful of dust from a bale of moldy hay.  I needed a breathing treatment for asthma, and I had a fever, too.

The Valley Fever spores are virulent enough to get noticed by the medical profession.  And even then, "most cases are misdiagnosed or missed entirely."  But maybe all spores can cause illness, including those that I inhaled.

So thanks for the suggestions Amazone!
