Can anyone help please? I am pretty compliant on my Swami, in very good general health, medicated for thyroid deficiency, diabetes positive but totally controlled with exercise and diet, no medications, but for ages I've had puffy moons under my eyes, particularly on one side. It is vanity that makes me want to fix it, but I also realise that it could well be a symptom of something more serious. I could go to a Chinese therapist for kidney treatment but wonder what others have done. There are no symptoms of disease other than what I have mentioned above. Thanks in advance. |

Depending on what part of below the eye it is either kidney directly below eye or large intestine just above cheek bone - some would say. do you have any other facial irritation or anything?
generally too much sugar of some kind whether from grains or other forms.
what medication are you taking for thyroid issue? is there an alternative? |

Generally the puffiness is immediately below the eyes, right to the corner. Once recently I had a combination of puffy with red facial irritation on the upper cheek bone which was an alarming combination...only cause i could see was an uncharacteristic use of home made cherry jam the night before (containing sugar) Thyroid medication is a daily average of 125micrograms thyroxine sodium per day. (you may be more familiar with a different unit of measurement) |

I had that same problem last summer. I finally narrowed it down to a new "natural" face cream. When I did a search on the ingredients, I found one of them to be highly toxic!

I get puffy eyes from my mother. She had them, too - but she was an alcoholic, did not eat for her blood type either. I find, now that I'm exercising vigorously on a regular basis and losing more weight, the puffiness goes as I eat according to my SWAMI. My body is just functioning better - and it looks like my BP is improving. It seems wheat and corn, aside from everything else those two partners in health crime do, will agigtate my eye sacks. Just sharing. Good luck with yours!! |

As my skin is quite dry I have been using various eye creams for many years. So experimentally, I am desisting around the eyes for a period now, and after a few days I can see minimal improvement already! If this is the answer, how much better than the onset of kidney disease! Will keep you informed. Re suggestions of eating avoids, this does not figure for me as I am remarkably compliant. Thinking of having a little pot of olive oil on the bathroom shelf for eye use! |

puffy is natural for those who have some issues of mal digestion.. Drink more green juices .. dandelion is great .. a little as often as possible during the day..for weeks to come - also helps black eye rings..
...... Yesterday I was eating a box of nuts (cashews- the kind not meant for my optimum health) then I ate dinner... by the time I was finished I could not keep my 'eyelids' open.. my body did not feel tried but my eyes and my brain conked out in minutes.. ..... I felt as if my eyes where swollen shut.
I personally see puffy eyes as needing to detox, but also as a sign about 'heart/kidney weakness. IF you are ok then for looks sake use cucumber slices to reduce it.. ..
But possibly Trehalose Complex would scrub what ails you.. I think it might be possible to reverse such internal 'damage'..
|
| When I see other peoples medicines schedule-I am happy to be here taking care of my health I only wish to drop weight more easily-life would be perfection Being 'here' creates understanding. BTD prevents damage from eating avoids. Thanks Dr D & your sups - all support and friendships |

While you're working on the causes you can shift them quickly by applying strong green tea ice cubes, wrapped in very thin fabric to the area for a few minutes |
