Golfzilla, Glad to hear your wife was able to at least get our on the golf course with you. I played for the first time this year yesterday - in the 80s here in Massachusetts - unbelievable. Course was in perfect shape and not even officially open yet.
Jean, Sorry to hear about your son. Hope he's doing better. Was it from a sports injury? Jane
Hi Jane! Hope you played well and enjoyed yourself. Yeah, was great having her out there with me again
If you keep doing what you've always done, and you keep getting what you've aways got, perhaps it's time for a change...
Thank you Jane and Golfzilla. He was about 8 hours away from home at Red Mountain racing in a snowboard race. He hit a jump and went "over the handlebars!!!" Head over tea kettle.
He told me he was out for about 4 minutes and when he woke up, he thought he was at home at the bottom of the course. It was lucky he was in small center as he got excellent care from the hospital. They saw some spots on the scans at the base of the skull and did more tests and found no damage there but he did have broken ribs and a good concussion.
One of the side effects of the concussion was a total lack of appetite, he lost 8 lbs on a skinny frame. He said he doesn't know when he is hungry and he feels full most of the time. That feeling is slowly going away and his appetite is returning. He did some light training yesterday and felt pretty good.
