I just had a major setback in my cleanse today. Suddenly my colongot all locked up and the yeast just sat there and did its damage on my brain and my lower intestines.I was so sad and angry about it! The crazy feelings came back as I realised I could not eliminate the stuff! I hate yeast!!!! It's a tiny army of spores that slowly kill people!!!

Brown rice where I went to eat was contaminated with avoids so I had white rice for 2 days. Rice is my friend but apparently in the quantity I ate it and the fact it had no bran on it cancelled out the fact that I ate plenty of veggies for nutrition and elimination. It has been years since I even ate grain so I simply thought white rice would "go through me like Chinese food usually does" in people. It did not!

I feel ashamed and defeated. But perhaps if I could have remembered a purgative or enema in time I could have avoided a binge/vomit cycle by ushering that yeast out.

So tonight, is an enema best, or would something else be best? I can't leave it overnight to fester.

I

I am also wondering if I should save "good" grains for special occastions.

Seraffa - the yeasts were causing the constipation. Yeast LOVE white rice so try and stay away from it. I am so sorry to hear about your difficulty. I had constipation when I first started the cleanse. It just means the bacteria built up.

Think of it this way - next time you purge, all of the white ickies will come out... in HUGE clumps. You are a fighter. So, keep fighting!!!

enemas are great to help out with cleanses because they aid in eliminating toxins etc that arise during the cleansing process.  They just need to be done properly.

When I was having trouble eliminating on the candida cleanse with coconut oil, I really wanted an enema. However, I had to drive at least an hour to hour and half to get it done!

!!!

This is a crazy wording.. purging means throwing up.. that is not some thing to be offered for any reason..

the diet can make you feel somewhat constipated, but it can be helped in ways.. oils, A's can have coffee?  walking, stressing less, eating low glycerin fruit, .. enemas. yes but maybe all that is needed is a little cream inserted to stimulate.. grains are not my fav.. what about other foods that will help..

how long are you constipated.. more the 3 days?  if not then why not worry less,, and stop imagining the worst..  sorry I am of no help.. but wish you the best.. constipation is as much emotional is physical.. heal they body and mind.. letting go of pain and sorrow..

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

do you mean a colonic?  You don't have to go anywhere for an enema; just buy an enema bag and you're set.  they aren't quite as "powerful" as colonics, but they can extend the entire length of the colon if enough water is used

Oops! Meant colonics. Thanks for clarifying. I never tried an enema before. When the yeast was building up before the great purge, I would not have a BM for about three days. It was really uncomfortable. After my vomiting experience, I wanted things coming out at the other end and not through my mouth. So yeah, I seriously considered colonics except we don't have a practitioner here.

Dr D
no need for colonic irrigation as the same toxins which are removed through that procedure are safer and better removed by following the diet. Read the section in the book on the "Indican test" for more information.

What did you end up doing?

IMO, occasional enemas, when used to treat constipation that's already there, are appropriate. What you don't want is to do enemas so often that your body comes to rely on them, especially if that means you'll do regular enemas instead of trying to fix your diet. In this specific case, you know what you did that led to the constipation, and how to change your diet to prevent it in the future.

I don't get constipated often, but when I do I take some magnesium oxide. I also increase my fermented foods (slacking off on the ferments is generally what leads to the constipation to begin with.)

I don't have experience with yeast.

I have never liked enemas.  (Glad to know from this post that Dr. D doesn't recommend them)

When I am the slightest bit constipated I increase magnesium.  I also increase apples.  I have never been disappointed with the gentle results.

Short term probably OK.. but A's get all sorts of issues with the bowels.. better to go a bit deeper to work on it from the top down rather then the bottom up.

I use this product when I have trouble elimating excessive toxins (due to Lyme Disease) causing constipation. It works really well and is not habit forming. And works from the top down. I've also read that is can help kill yeast (candida) because yeast can not live in an oxygen environment and this product introduces a lot of oxygen.

Mag O7 is a specially formulated magnesium based compound which has been ozonated and stabilized to release nascent oxygen when used as directed. Mag O7 has a stool softening effect, which eliminates the digestive tract of unwanted fecal debris, and aids in digestion by slowly releasing beneficial nascent oxygen which good aerobic bacteria needs to digest properly. Mag O7 is non-habit forming.

Thank you, ladies. They are great ideas. I used to give enemas to myself years ago on a raw foods diet. I have noplace to go (no home) to do that now, lying on the bathroom floor or in the tub, rubbing my abdomen around   BTW before I wrote this thread, PassionPrincess was right......when I did throw up this time, there was a giant yeast bubble and lots and lots of tentacles in the whole mess. I sure hope a 6 month cycle of killing is enough......is it enough???  How do you "know" you've arrived????   If they live in your brain, can they trick you about that?  I HATE YEAST!!!!!!!
