Some might remember me mentioning the little boy that was sucked up by the tornado that happened in Joplin, MO this May. He's doing very well. Just as a reminder his mother and brother both died and he was sucked up out of the house and thrown through the windows of a vehicle and found by his Aunt. He had major lacerations to his head, a large cut on the back of his leg as well as a board sticking out of his side which punctured his colon. He does have major scars but his hair has grown over the ones on his head so that they're no longer visible. Being that the calf of his leg has a huge scar it's noticeable when wearing shorts and he doesn't typically take off his shirt so I've never seen the scars on his side. Since the tornado, however, he's suffered severe migraines. In the hospital he had multiple x-rays and such so I reckon that if anything else was wrong they would have said so. We spent the day with him yesterday and he threw up 3 times because it made him so sick to his stomach. I've heard of these types of incidents where someones gets a blow to the head and then they suffer from all sorts of headaches. Is there anything that they can do for him? Is something out of alignment maybe? Or is it simply head trauma that in time will heal? He's 9 years old. Thanks |

Does he eat per one of Dr. D.'s plans?
I have been having nausea, tinnitus, dizziness, etc. from some cranial shape shifting that has been going on for the last year +... I have to assume that my head was mis-shaped due to a fall when I was pre-10, as that is the only major incident I recall that could have had that effect. I don't recall any major issues at the time of the fall, but I know that my diet was majority avoids, so the body may have been overwhelmed just dealing with the minimal healing rather than being able to do the deep healing necessary.
So much is conjecture after 40 years, that it is hard to say with certainty...

The grandparents have him. They are of a different religious sect that have some really strange ideas about medicine and alternative health care in general. I've been working with the Aunt and Uncle who are much more open minded. It would be through them that the changes would have to come. |

Poor child!
Are his caretakers open to chiropractic care? Obviously, he'd need a full workup to make sure that the adjustments are done in a way that don't aggrivate his condition, but it might be extremely helpful if done right.
Other kinds of "energy healing" might also help to reset the flow of nerve energy through his spine.
There's also likely a psychological component as well- he's just suffered a HUGE loss and kids often show physical symptoms when they don't know how to handle their emotions. I got a lot of psychosomatic headaches as a child- caused by stress, but the pain was real. |

Things are in the news and people are all interested for the moment. But we forget that the people impacted don’t stop suffering after the news media leaves their area.
It is so good of you Leanne to try and help this little boy who has endured so much in his short lifetime. |

it is probably more phycological than actual head trama. i hope they are at least taking him to a therapist. considering what he went through he really needs mental counseling to help him work through all the emotions he must be exsperiancing. |

Leanne...is there a hospital in the area you can contact to see if they have a pain management department, and if so call and see if they have a manipulation doctor, in there facility. This is in more depth then a chiropractor, the doctor can feel with his fingertips, run along the base of the skull, behind the eats and down the neck area and spine, and just move a bit at a time to put into place what is ajar, if any are. ...Linda |
