Hi,
I went through my D'Adamo books and could not find anything on the herb, Nettle.
I do not like Claritin and Zyrtec. Haven't looked into getting the steroid shot.
For Blood Type O, Race Black, GenoType Hunter, any comments on Nettle? I haven't opened the bottle because I wanted to check my blood type and geno type info.
I live in the DFW area.
Is Omega 7 good for leaky gut? Is it good for anything? At 30 dollars per package, it's worth asking about before spending money on it.
Supposedly, it supposed to help membranes. |

I'm pretty sure I saw nettle somewhere- I'm thinking I saw it in the Blood Type Encyclopedia. It's a beneficial herb to take. |

It is listed under Stinging Nettle, root in the Encyclopedia. It is an anti-inflammatory used to treat hay fever, sinusitus, prostrate enlargement, support immune function, and inhibits viruses. Sounds like pretty good stuff to me |

This from an O gather, I took Claritin D everyday since it came out and my daughter was having a sinus infection every year. For her I got the allergy pack from North American Pharmacal, Inc. This was about a year and half ago. She did so well on it that we keep it on hand. She takes the Quercetin/Bromelain and the Collinsonia Plus (stone root) just about everyday, most of the year. If we run out I can get the Quercetin/bromelain in the "NOW" brand but haven't found stone root anywhere local. My daughter says the NAP products work better. They do need to get into your system. I started in med winter so by spring (two springs ago) I haven't needed to take the Claritin. I haven't taken any for two seasons now. I only take 1 Quercetin a day. I've had two sinus headache during all this time I've take Benadryl for.
Stinging Nettle Leaf is listed in the Allergy control protocols, Stinging nettle root is for yeast/Fungus resistance. (from Eat Right 4 your type Encyclopedia) This is a great book to keep around. |

The encyclopedia also recommends the leaf. The arthritis book discusses both leaf and root. Live right mentions the root. |

I suffer from allergies and in fact am having sinus surgery on Monday( polyps removed, sinuplasty..like balloon plasty..in all of my sinuses)
I highly recommend quercetin and proberry from Nap. The collinsonia and nettle(from health food store) didn't really make a difference for me but I swear by the Basic pack ( polyvite, polyflora , phytocal and deflect for your blood type!!!!!! I have been on it for 2 years and now have my husband and sons (Hunters and Explorers) on theirs! We are 2 different blood types and all love Proberry! |

Thank you.
For now, I guess it's ok for O-Hunter. I'll check in the morning.
I was taking Bromelain with Quercetin, but it wasn't enough. (And, I would try eating pineapple, too for more Bromelain.)
I would take a sharp knife and cut the over the counter 12-hour allergy pill in half; but the allergies won and I needed to take the 24 hour dose.
I hear what you say about the naturopathic remedy having to get into your system really well, over time.

Fascinating: the Quercetin was a waste of money. The ER4YT Encyclopedia shows it's effective for Blood Group A and Blood Group AB.
So instead of Quercetin with Stinging Nettle, I would be better off with Boswellia Serrata (Frankincense)and Stinging Nettle. |
