For years I have struggled with headaches that last up to 3 days while I am on my period. I seldom get headaches any other time. Is there any natural remedies I can try as a type A? Thanks for your suggestions. |

I'm past that stage of life, but I used to get a migrane headache before periods that magnesium supplements helped. This was before I started with Blood Type diets and gluten/dairy fee diet. |

It can be related to the massive lowering of estrogen levels just before and during the period. Somehow progesterone does help with the pain. As I have been inching closer to menopause, the natural lowering of estrogen has really helped with the migraines. |

jean, you reminded me of the book "What your Doctor May Not tell you about PeriMenopause and another same title for Menopause. It's by John Lee. He explains about the hormonal links, balance of estrogen to progeterone, and how it causes headaches and many other symptoms. A good read for anyone in that phase. |

Thanks for the recommendation. I will look for that. |
