Since being unwell for the last week my left leg has been playing up, i can't put my weight on it. it hurts behind the lower calf and at the front below the knee. but mainly at the back. initially the whole leg was playing up and occaisionally the right legs wants a piece of the action too lol

The only thing i have eaten that is non conpliant is some organic lemon cordial as i have been so thirsty. i have now stopped that. I am doing nothing exerting and althoufgh i can't sleep much i rest my leg a lot. I am also strailing when going to the tiolet despite taking a supp for this.

any ideas?

HI PC,

Since traveling from California to NJ/NY I have had flu/cold symptoms that are finally starting to get better.  But I am eating at least twice a day.  Have you started eating much yet?  I think some grass fed beef will get you going in the toilet department.  Sorry but I think you need to eat some good food to recover.  But maybe you are?  Give us more info

I wouldn't think a whole lot of it, but since you're already sick I'd definitely have it checked out.

please see a doctor.. if we are all wrong so be it.. a clot can cause you to lose a leg..

The only forgiving thing is that both legs are involved..

possibly a chiro to look at the lower back??

please don't wait..

one other thing I might do is drink soem Cherry juice to clean out the body..

I sent you a private message..

sounds for me like a distortion and inflammation of a ganglion
we, the explorers aren't that prone for b-clottings, I think especially NOT the O's .... but I'd go for boswellia serrata & MSM or glucosamine sulphat .... and as Goldieshatz wrote... please go and see an ND to help you out of this situation
btw if you experience some heat, take some kytta cream or ice.....ontop

I have let nature take it's course and rested my leg for about a week, the swelling is almost gone and the pain is almost all gone too.

I have been pretty well bed ridden for 10 days now. I have NOT felt like eating but feel okay, I have just drank water with a light meal every other day when i can face it.

My only remaining problem is going to the toilet, which is such a strain and pretty stressful. having to go every 1/2 hour and practically nothing happening.

I have increased the amount of water I'm drinking as that seems to help a bit and have doubled my genoma eq, I'm also going to try another remedy pygeum and saw palmetto, only because i have just run out of the others genoma eq.

My tonsillitis is still in the back ground as is a chest infection. but they are all under control.

all in all quite a little experiment in just letting the body mend itself.

If only i could get a new prostrate I'd be flying.

PC I amnot getting a bit of the idea that nature is doing it's job, 10 days in bed is real ill.. not eating but every other day is just not right..

not going to the bathroom is ILL..

There is nothing about your post that makes sesnse..   Go see a Doctor and stop being ridiculous..

you have other people depending on you what is in it for you to work this out your self?? what EGO is involved.. I am shocked that you are not seing the issues your body has to deal with..

Tonislitis can so easy become a heart murmer.. something you ought not wish for.

Stubborn is one thing but ridiculous is another .,. if you don't wan't to do he meds a doc  would say you need, or the prosate test for cancer,  so be it but at least KNOW what you are dealing with.

With all due respect Goldie I have had all those test.

I just think my body is having a clear out. And my health is improving so don't be worrying.

I have been giving my body a chance to rest and feel okay for it.

Plus I don't have your positive thoughts for doctors who have just managed to waste my time in the past. If I think they can help with something I'll call them.

I'm resting and eating when i want, It's not like i have been active and need a lot of food.

Of course we're going to worry - All of your symptoms added up make for a scary picture.

I feel the same way about doctors that you do (and have to admit I probably wouldn't go to one either) so I'm not going to push that, but it has been ten days so if things don't get better soon (or get worse ) please do something more.  If not for yourself, then for your daughter.

Much better day today. I upped my prostate herbs and that helped big time. so am hopeful of getting some sleep tonight.

Has a half a piece of toast and scrambled egg for breakfast (really enjoyed that).

small cup Broth soup for lunch and a portion of chips to dinner (I know avoid but hey)

I have also had more water (because i had been sweating more than i had realised).

Men.    and an Irishman on top of it.  That's where my dad got his stubborness from.  The Irish side.   You could have a bacterial infection. If it turns into sepsis you could die.  I hope your immune system is working.  You should probably be in the hospital.

Oh wow, I forgot he was an Explorer. That's bad.   Does PC know you're an ND?
Well you know what? my conscience is clear.  My B son isn't stupid he knows that when he feels really bad, it's time to see the doctor. My O son is pretty much an O. He'll wait..and wait...but he usually trusts my instincts and will go if I urge him.

Policychecker, your last post sounds like you are on the mend.  If the bathroom is still an issue perhaps add vitamin C and magnesium, especially magnesium which helps tons of things in the body.

That alone could be from being drained of all energy..Potassium deficiency.. eat bananas..

Please find someone who can tell what it is you had.. what tests did you do already.. look I am just asking..

cancer, is one?  a blood clot another , and do you or did you have temeperature at any time//// ?

I have had many issues with you.. and yes you are OK most of the time.. but please don't over look anything.. I want you here to discuss many things..  for a long time.. I rather err on the side of silly then take a chance .. a good Doc does not need to take to many tests.. he can tell from experience..

otherwise however become well and keep on staying in touch..

If anyone know a ND in Northern Ireland, please feel free to give me their details.

If I could find one i would see one without the slightest hesitation.

What i won't do is waste any more time and money on normal doctors who have pretty much ruined my health over the years.

Ans I'm not that stubborn by the way.

I'm watching my health if anything gets beyond bearing I'll make a phone call but i promise you all that i will get is antibiotics and other medication that will cause more problems even if they do temporarily help the current ones.

And as far as my immune system is concernred. note the following

I don't smoke, I don't drink alcohol, I don't eat any sweets now, I am 100 % NOTE 100 % compliant.

Now re prostate, i was diagnosed with BPH several years ago and took medication for it religiously for years, it made me ill and i was fit to do nothing. i started taking Genoma EQ and low and behold for years I was fine. if a little uncomfortable sometimes.

it is only since having this virus/ bug or whatever rthat it has got bad again. but I'm trying other things too.

My leg is something else again. one days or two it is fine and then it gets a little sore again. so I'm keeping an eye on that obviously.

As far as not eating much - well to be honest I don't know what the fuss is about. I have eaten pretty well like a king for 40  odds years so i don't think eating less for a few weeks while i haven't felt like eating to be a big deal. I have been taking vits and supps the whole time. lots of water and resting a great deal.

my body pretty well told me to not eat much and rest for what still isn't quiet 2 weeks.

I read all your advice on here and read all the links but must admit to being a little frustrated by some regarding normal doctors. up until recently the whole family has not been ill for like 2 years including me and we have taking no pills and no advice from doctors.
