I am concerned about you getting dehydrated, can you sit in a bathtub?
I would take you to the hospital and get you some IV fluid but I know this might not be on your to do list.
My husband used to take a shot glass when the kids where sick and have them take a sip every few minutes, small doses of water or broth.

Do you have Lyme disease where you live? This sounds like a very bad flu or Lyme disease to me. You might need antibiotics. I experienced similar symptoms about three summers ago. Was in bed for four days until my husband finally got me up, gave me a shower and took me to the emergency room. Lyme disease is rampant in our area and because it was summer as opposed to winter, they treated me for Lyme. I was so much better within three days.
I'm not up for antibiotics either, but it would be good to get a diagnosis. You can then use natural means for healing, but you can't do any healing until you know what's wrong.

do you have temperatire? fever?
Migrains can be as bad, but maybe rather then just liquid I would drink GENGERALE as that would replace some electrolights.. salts and minerals.. also interspersed I would drink Tonic water.. to replace other needs.. then eat bananas to replace the potassium needed for the heart to function and if you have some sea salt in very small amount in water..
I would also no matter the blood type.. cook simmer old fashion ots for 45 minutes until slimy..then strain trough to get only the slimy.. sorry I have no better word for it.. then eat that in any amount you can... also possibly add rice to the same mix and cook for the same time.. again strain it and eat that.. if you can add a bullion cube for the salt content..
I am in agreement that I would also take antibiotics of need be.. they work and you can deal with the after effects later with foods.. I think this might be a reaction of having the body TRY to get rid of toxins by ecreting it any way it can, but the suffering sounds like worse then you should have to.. ( like yes lime .. then also mosketo borne illnesses) I would if you can go see a doctor that could test for all sorts of things..malaria, lime and just plain migrains.. ) you have suffered so badly for so much time I feel for you..
how do you see doctors for You?
may I ask could it be food poisoning... unlikely since its going on for days.. .. or is the flu going around in your area? what are you taking for pain?
I think you need medical intake of fluids intravenus?/
Do you have any help to shop for the above? .. can you send for a cab delivery??
you do need help..

I'm not sure if Lyme's disease is in northernireland. I did get bitten by a fly or something the other day.
I would be resisting taking antibiotics.
PC.. this is my second post..... this is YOU.. go see a doctor.. now..
I was answering above for someone else.. with more chronic illness.. but the advice still is good..
but YOU know better.. never mind the fear of antibacterials.. better be alive and well and then fight on..
YOU DO need to know what this is called.. maybe not lime but a bite can be dangerous.. even from a spider.. or a fly..
all the best with love..

I understand what you saying brinkskysail. but the doctors in this country just diagnose a "virus" and hand out antibiotics.
I can type now so i must be getting a bit better.
I think I have the flue and being a man it's worse than usual although i have never had a headache for several days.
Allopathic doctors never do anything except hand out antibiotics ; that doesn't mean you have to take it. When I was little, my mom would take me to the doctor all the time just to find out what was wrong. I never took the antibiotics - just the diagnosis, and then my mom would give me whatever natural remedy was useful for the illness I had.

Oh dear. Sounds like a bad bug (virus) to me. Drink a lot of clear liquid, if you can stand to. Water, lemon/limeade, tea, broth, etc. Keep up the proberry, and rest, rest, rest. If you can stand to eat a little protein or whatever else you feel like eating, try to.
Hang in there!

I don't like the migraine symptoms (photophobia--a.k.a., bright lights bothering you, headache and buzzing in your head). Those don't necessarily go along with a "regular" virus. I'm wondering about this "fly" bite now. I hate to say this, but if this doesn't clear up in another day or so, a visit to a doctor might be in order. I'm resistant to taking anything (like antibiotics), too, but sometimes it is good to go and at least find out what they have to say.
Meanwhile, take it very easy and drink, drink, DRINK that water (with lemon in it, ideally). And homemade broth, if you have it.

I should have said, i have drunk 2 bottles of sparkling water but i go to the toilet every half hour.
Diarhea or are you urinating frequently?
If you're drinking a lot but peeing it all out, then adding some salt to the water should help you retain fluids. If you have frequent diarhea, then you still need to add salt to your water, but you'll need to be even more vigilant about preventing dehydration. It's also very worrisome if frequent diarhea lasts more than a day or so.

That sounds terrible. Have you had a fever? If so, how high? Do you have any spots in the back of your throat, white or red? Can you go to the doctor for a throat culture? If something bit you, can't you see a doctor for that? If you tell them you were bit, they wouldn't diagnose virus right off the bat, would they?

P.S. In 2007, the last time I was sick (I have not been sick for one second since starting the GTD in 2008 ), I was REALLY sick. I mean, sick. Sick, sick. SICK. I couldn't breathe. I almost called 911 because I thought I was going to suffocate. And I had this, like, WHOOPING COUGH that lasted for months. I now have come to the conclusion that I first had some sort of horrible virus/flu, and THEN it went into walking pneumonia. I didn't go to the doctor. Well, I have now further come to the...not conclusion, exactly, but "wondering", wondering if that lot is what caused my left-bundle branch block, electrical conduction problem in my heart, due to maybe going into an infection of the heart. Mind you, that is just one of my wild PT theories and could not have been the case at all, and my LBBB could have NOTHING to do with that 2007 illness, but they have NO IDEA why I have LBBB. It makes no sense that I have it, without any other heart problems that are usually associated with it. I have stumped the cardiology community band, so to speak. Anyway, my point is, perhaps I should have gone to a doctor in 2007 when I was so sick for so long, nevermind when it was so acute that I couldn't breathe, but I mean, when I had this COUGH that I had for MONTHS and that literally was debilitating to the point that I couldn't carry on a conversation or anything when it was going on.
Just saying: I think you are like me about going to doctors and, speaking from recent experience, I can tell you that sometimes it actually is a good thing to go, just make sure you get a good one. I recently chose to drive one hour each way to see an ENT in another city, versus any of the ones I could have picked here, because this one came so highly recommended in the ways that I wanted him to be--good bedside manner, listens, thorough, etc. I would have driven two hours each way for that, in my situation. And the guy was great, sent me to the best place on earth he could have sent me to for vertigo, and I'm FIXED. Best medical experience I ever had.
You just may need antibiotics or SOMETHING, but at least find out what you are dealing with, IF it doesn't start improving in the next day or so. If it starts gradually improving, I would not go to a doctor, either. But I don't like the buzzing, the photophobia and the headache. The sore throat is GOOD as it makes me think, okay, it is a virus, not something awful going on, but a virus can be bad enough. Then again, there isn't much they can do for most viruses. Still...I say, if it doesn't improve in the next 48 hours, get ye to a doctor.

I've never heard of having a sore throat with a migraine. It could be a migraine, but that may just be a symptom of something larger. could just be a flu-type thing though.
When I got flu back in December I slept all the time and took double dose multivitamins and vitamin C until bowel tolerance.
It is good to sweat it out as you are getting rid of all the toxins
A few years ago I had something similar to you, but instead of nosebleeds I had hot tears coming from my burning eyes. The headache may be due to your temperature. I had to go to hospital for a bit but doctors said it was tonsilitis. I think i was given paracetmol and ibuprofen round the clock.
I think multivitamins and vitamin C every 4 or 5 hours will really help. Mum calls it 'magic brew'

It could be strep throat. Or, anyway, there's some kind of infection in your throat. If you're also running a fever, then that would explain most of the other symptoms. I'm not personally a fan of fever-reducing medicines- fever is part of the body's immune response, and shouldn't be suppressed. OTOH, if you don't have a fever, then I don't know why you had the headache, photophobia, etc.
Raw garlic is wonderful for killing bacteria, fungi, and viruses, but it's not so easy on the stomach. I had a sore throat the past few days, and after eating a whole clove of raw garlic with breakfast, my throat stopped hurting (I'm not 100% better yet though.) Raw garlic can be very nauseating, though, so if you're not up for food yet, this might not be the best natural remedy to choose.
Gargling with salt water can be soothing to sore throats. Gargling with hydrogen peroxide isn't so soothing, but it's excellent at killing germs on contact (say, in the back of your throat.)

This is something I do when fighting a virus. A couple of heaping Tb of powdered ginger in a large dishpan. Fill with hot water from the tap. Soak your feel until they are pink and water begins to cool. Rub dry very thoroughly with a towel, giving a massage as you do. Put on thick socks. Keep your neck and chest warm and well covered.
Gargle deeply several times a day with warm salt water @ 1/2 tsp per 8 oz.
Keep your head cool, even with a cold, damp washcloth. Keep your feet warm.
