My hematologist says to take a baby aspirin every day. And why? Even though I don't have lupus I have certain markers, one of these antigens causes strokes in people with these markers. He says my red cells are sticky and that the aspirin will help with this. Does anyone know how this would relate to the Nomad (B-) diet, if at all? I know it can cause stomach issues so he said take midway through a meal with 12 ounces of water. I really don't want to do this but I don't want a stroke either.

are you swamied?

have you followed the cardio book if susceptible?

many people have been helped following Dr D s guidelines, depending on issues....
his health series are real easy to follow and packed with protocols, food lists and good advice

Are you following your diet? It should help make your blood less thick. Docs have a way of scaring people.

Even one of the hematology societies has found that the BTD is effective for blood disorders.

Wine consumption can help make blood less sticky as well

Yes, following the diet but didn't realize the value of wine. Red wine is diamond on my plan. Guess I will pour up a glass   it's for my blood you know (heh-heh-heh). I order the cardiovascular book and the one on fatigue. Maybe I might just beat this thing after all.

Do you drink enough water and other clear liquids each day, such as green and herbal tea?  Dehydration, even mild, can make the blood too thick.

If you are still detoxing from avoids, they are in the system...  As long as they are in your system, the blood will react to them.

Stay on the diet and allow the detox to complete and the body will take care of the healing...  It can only heal so fast, so depending on the stored toxin levels, it may take some time...

I'm pretty comfortable with the thoughts that if I have been more toxic than this and didn't have a stroke, I probably won't have one now...

Didn't someone recommend that several lemons squeezed into water is just as effective as an aspirin?  I thought I remembered reading that here a few months back . . . maybe you could do a search
