Hey guys...so I have a question. Questions, really, and comments. So, I have struggled with my weight since I was about 8 or so. I started to get stretch marks very early, like puberty time or maybe even before. It's one thing that really hurts my self esteem. Most of them are on my breasts, extending onto my chest, but I have some on my belly, my thighs, my underarms. Now that I am being more compliant with the diet, I am losing weight (and feelin better), but I have been getting MORE stretch marks around my chest, and it's really upsetting me. I have used lotion, cocoa butter, shea butter, some generic creams, some expensive creams, etc. I have bought an expensive dermabrasion machine (few years ago) to little fanfare. So, my question is: Do you have any products to recommend that worked? Both to prevent and (God willing) remove these unsighly marks? Also, I wonder if it is related to genotype. (I guess ultimately everything is)? I know I have "thin skin" as my veins are nearly see through in my hands and wrists especially, and I think that goes along with the Explorer genotype, but may be a nonnie thing, I'm not sure. I did a search before writing this, and haven't seen anything else on the boards about this, so any info is welcome. Thank you in advance!
Almond oil with tangerine and lavender essential oil, in case real rose too should help. Look for the best brands , or thy can be fake oils, unuseful for you ! Do you supplement vitamin C to boost your collagen ? this too is imho always good !

Even though this is usually seen as a "female" issue I have also had stretch marks since childhood. After loosing enough weight (as I did in my late twenties) the marks are about the last sign to fully dissappear. Over six months after I gained my ideal weight, the marks were still shrinking, fading and healing.
Be patient, and with the help of the diet you will also heal.

Emu oil worked wonders on my scars after tumor removal so it should work for stretch marks.

Emu is one of the best for everything skin-related. I keep a bottle near the shower of an oil blend that I massage into entire body after the shower, while my skin is still wet. Blot dry with a towel so as to leave the oil on the skin. Massage in quickly.
4 oz each, extra virgin olive oil and grapeseed oil 1 Tb Emu oil 1/2 tsp pure vitamin E a few drops of genuine lavender oil
shake well
