I have been diagnosed with pseudo gout in my right knee. It is unlike gout in that the crystals are made u of calciumpryphospate. Does anyone know or have heard of a remedy to reduce the crystals or prevent flair ups. My orthopaedic doctor has forgidden me to take up any walking programs on account of this but  I do Zumba anyways (because I like it and need SOME exercise).

fear the wheat, not the meat
meaning add your proteins, lower your carbs in the form of  grains

You know, now tht I think of it, I had less twinges during my workout Monday. WSo all this time I have been through two knee surgeries just because of my refusal to give up wheat. Well, Lola, I have certainly reached a turning point in my life (even though there is not much of it left). I should have stayed on track two three ago when I first started this on the GTD Gather meal plan

One stich in time saves nine, no doubt. But it is never too late! Many people in my country also find it too difficult a life choice to quit wheat and we know what happens in a few years' time. Congratulations and best wishes in your new journey.

Thanks Lola and Kumar. What was that Beatles' song, 'the long and winding road...'.
