I have a friend who is pretty sick because of this disease. It is new to me. Does anyone know if the BTD can help? It has to do with protein deposits on body organs, I think. He is taking chemo, though. I would appreciate any input. I would hate to think that I had passed up the opportunity to help someone who is ill... |

I've never heard of that Meribelle, but I think of BTD as using the perfect type of fuel for your car (body) - it would certainly help the body's natural healing processes along. I hope you get some more expert responses than mine, of course. Good luck to your friend! |

I Googled it before I wrote you guys. Since it has to do with protein, it seems to me that the BTD couldn't hurt. I am the poster child for the BTD. I am amazed how many people do not even know their blood type. It took me years before I would pay for the secretor test....I should have done it sooner. This way of eating is "Freedom within Limits." |

Those build ups may be in part due to lectins (proteins that bind to things often).
Deflect might be a really good idea; taken away from meals. |

I do not know his blood type, but I was thinking of lectin damage, too. As soon as I get his email address I am going to write him. It would be wrong of me not to try to help. If he thinks I am strange, what's new about that? |

I read the post on amyloids. I bet that is what he has! Oh, gosh! We are so blessed to know about lectins and such. Thanks for the link. |
