I caught the norovirus again!!!! I had it four years ago and thought it was the worst thing I had ever experienced. I think it's really true that type B is very susceptible to viruses and I wish I could unsubscribe to that theory. I don't like being out of commission the way I was all weekend and only coming into the home stretch today. I might be myself by Wednesday and I'm going to kick up my heels then (perhaps in the snowstorm that's coming). The best remedies for me were my constitutional homeopathic remedy plus slippery elm powder in hot water with honey. |

Wow, Christina, how did you know about the snowstorm coming to New Hampshire. On the U.S. weather maps we hardly exist. However, it looks as if we'll get over a foot of snow here in the Monadnock Region. Lola, I do have the Encyclopedia but I confess I didn't even look at it. Andrea, I'm sooo much better today but the articles you cited went zing right over my head so I guess my head isn't on straight yet. I'll try again another day. Thanks, Goldie, so true!! Thank you for the tender feelings, O in Virginia. I have been very receptive to them, lately. I just want you all to know that most of the time I am extremely well so you can imagine how much I begrudge this norovirus. I follow the BTD without blinking an eye and do everything I can to keep myself well. Perhaps I take myself too seriously! |

Hi NHG, Hope you are feeling better soon. It's been a tough winter for viruses. Lots and lots of people sick. Glad your homeopathic remedies are working for you. Jane |

On my new SWAMI printout, Dr. D. says that virus tolerance is a Nomad thing... I guess only those of us with B-type in our blood can be Nomad, so it fits... We need to maintain a diet low in simple sugars and high in antioxidants to enhance our anti-viral defenses... Glad that you are on the mend! |

There are viruses and there are viruses. Even viruses differ. Some strains lay Type A's low, some B's, for instance... B's are not more susceptible to ALL viruses.
PS NHG, hope you're feeling better. |

This is a case where daily intake of Proberry liquid and/or Elderberry extract works well as a preventative. |

san j I was joking. Sounds as though every type is susceptible to some type of flu. Thanks Andrea and Lola, I'm going to read everything more carefully. The norovirus seems to be the one that really gets to me and I consider that unfortunate! |
