All right, my uncle with the apple sized tumor in his liver finally saw Dr. Nash. For starters he's a B Nomad secretor. This is the first time that anyone in my family has done BTD/GTD, other than when they're sick, so it's quite interesting. And fun too! The whole family is getting on the band wagon and supporting him and helping him to make sure that he eats right. My Aunt flew home from Alaska to help him out some. His wife died 5 years ago so he's all alone at the mercies of his two children (who have small children of their own) and siblings.
So, Dr. Nash put him on some pretty strange things! Least wise we all thought it was a bit different but my uncle feels good, so, whatever works, I reckon.
Here's the prescription: Typhoid vaccine - 1 cap every other day ClearCal - 1 cap every other day Espresso - 3 shots (I think, every other day as well)
This one here is only supposed to be done for a week and my Aunt told me that it's to make the cancer sticky so that all good food he eats will stick to the cancer and destroy it. This is coming to be at least 2nd maybe 3rd hand so someone else may need to clarify this.
Then she's got him on: Berberine - 200 mg 1 cap 2x's daily ARA6 with pectin capsules - 3 caps pectin and 2 T ARA6 3x's daily Huang/Qin/Scute - 1 cap 2x's daily (My Aunt said that this was abbreviated for something but she wasn't sure what) Green Tea - daily
Anyhow, he's feeling really good. We had him doing the BTD because we had no idea what his GTD was and quite a few things changed for him. My Aunt, who's also a blood type B, said that she'd do it with him to help support him. Well, she told me yesterday on the phone that she is definitely NOT a Nomad! She said that ever since she's been trying to follow the diet with him she feels tired and lethargic. She was doing better on BTD with him. So when he's not looking she sneaks what she likes to eat. But she's going back to Alaska anyhow within the next month. She's just helping to get on his feet and learn to do this on his own.
So that's that!

Wow that is fantastic! I am so glad your uncle was open and willing to see Dr. Nash. And now that he is feeling good that is just awesome. Dr. D consulting on the case is just icing on the cake. Of course that would be a BTD/GTD compliant cake. Please keep up posted with his progress. Many blessings to your uncle, you and your family. |

That's such a great beginning! Leanne, you have a wonderful family to all pull together like this. And a very auspicious beginning to have Dr. D. consult on the case, also! |

The Clinic had told my Uncle that they wanted him off of all of his meds except the blood thinner. He takes PB meds and also something for diabetes (there might be more but I'm not for sure). My Dad, who went with him for the visit, and my Uncle were pretty sure that they heard correctly but my Mom and Aunt were a little concerned that they wanted him to just drop those meds. They called to confirm. Sure enough, they wanted him off. Well, Tuesday was the first day that he hasn't taken a diabetes pill in quite some time and he's always struggled at keeping his sugar out of the 100's. Well, Wednesday his sugar was at an 86! He was quite pleased that food is actually taking care of some of his health issues. |

It is really good that he is seeing positive, measured results so quickly. It really confirms the power of this approach to health. Much more of this and your whole family will be looking very seriously at this way of life... |
