, and I gave him some essential oils (clove
, tea tree, eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender, thyme) diluted in water to use as a mouthwash after flossing and brushing. I also gave him astragalus and elderberry supplements. Within a few days I asked him about his sore throat, and he happily replied that it was all gone. He was still taking the supplements, so I said he should stop taking them, continue flossing and using the mouthwash, and see if the symptoms come back. If the sore throat returns, he will need to try something else. I would suggest the BTD for starters
Since I started flossing every day and using essential oils, I no longer get sore throat, sinus pressure, or gingivitis. I can't stress enough the importance of flossing and clove (oil/spice), especially for O's. This is not the first time I have suggested this to O's on this forum. In fact, I've lost count. I should start a thread: "Flossing for Dummies" lol, jk
I'm no doctor, but just think about it: If you're an O and eat an animal protein based diet, those foods can easily get stuck in your teeth and begin harboring bacteria such as candida. Combine this with the O's susceptibility to bacteria and viruses and voila, you get oral, ear, nose, throat, and even digestive problems.
