I've been happily using cat's claw as a tonic herb for more than a year. Lately I've been researching more about the plant and the way it is marketed and have met new friends who are following the 8 MONTH - 1 YEAR core herbal protocol discussed in Healing Lyme by Stephen Harrod Buhner. This was recommended by their conventional M.D. and appears effective for like 75% of people who display symptoms. I'm quite surprised I haven't seen more about it here on this board which has a 27 page thread on the lyme disease topic.

The book is easy to read and well written. My copy is the 10th printing and the author has made only a few corrections of previous versions on his website.

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

I'm not familiar with RMSF and just googled it.  Many people on Lyme boards are speaking about it...and it is a tick
borne infection.

I suggest you ask some questions on that health board forum if nobody comes forward here to offer suggestions.
I don't remember this subject ever coming up on this forum before...I would think the treatment and
recovery might be very similar to Lyme...supporting your immune system so you don't wind up with long
term residual side effects.  I wish you my best...and hope you're soon feeling well.

Have you gotten involved in an Internet group about Lymes?
Ribbit is involved in such a group. She's not here as often as she used to be, but maybe someone knows about some groups.
