I have been told that people who have hypothyroidism should avoid soy products...I have type A blood with diagnosed hypothyroidism...your diet recommends soy products...Is it OK for me to eat them? |

Greeting Steven: Welcome to the forum. Some one will be by shortly to more directly answer your question. Are you presently taking any medications for the thyroid or using any other therapies? You can help the other members of the forum help you by choosing a blood type shield to display beneath your name. Here are some instructions explaining how to select the appropriate shield. Soy for A's needs to follow Peter's advice. Organic, non GM eat tofu and Tempeh, they are the best forms of soy. Other forms of soy I would not trust like TVP. Cooking all your soy in cast iron or non aluminum pans is important as well. |
