Is this recommended to see if there are elevated levels that might indicate some kind of an infection?

I think there's also a breath test for it, my doctor used to have brochures in his office about it.  I got diagnosed by a blood test of some kind, years ago.

I had Hpylori before, it was horrible, I had felt upset stomach, bloating and pain in my stomach same time, I had antibiyotic treatment for two weeks and then still had to take zantac 300mg a day for a while even after antibiotics...

I believe the breath test requires testing in a specail lab because of some kind of radioactive (?)substance you ingest -not considered dangerous ?
