I wanted to open a new thread for signs of mercury poisoning. I realize when we search on net we find a lot of signs, but I want to know people actually had mercury poisonning, how mercury affected your health, what was the signs that you thought you had mercury poisoning? I think this would educate a lot more than just read the signs and side effects from any website..

I think the way you explained was really good, because you had these signs, but after those removed you were all fine, so definetely you knew your tiredness, aches ..were coming from mercury. It is important for me because I have all those signs now and I am about the get them removed and I will definetely see if it is coming from mercury or not, because it can come from different diseases..Thanks

dearest Ozlem W. I am very aware about all signs of that and it is more than 25 years ago I've got the removal...but I just love the hardest tour I've had the removal not slowly what I recommend to all of you, but all in one session; and then I got really, really sick for 2 days; but after two weeks, I was newborn

and beware of one thing; the confondment of psychological patterns, whicht might be done in Keirseiys' infp/J and isfp/J's....that is more than heavy!!!!! especially when 9 is underestimated in her/his so called CFS-syndroms' , which mostly is not here the  fact right now  !!!!!

OzlemW-glad to hear that you are having your mercury fillings removed.  Are you having them done by a regular dentist or holistically?  Please take care with this.  Holistically done you are going through a natural detox method and is much better for you.  What Isa says is that she had hers removed, but not that way...that is why she got sick.  You must be careful with this as sometimes you will be sick for a long time.   There are special steps to be taken for mercury removal.

I am going to get most of them remove next week, I have been eating clantro for detox. I think my dentist is regular, but I may go to different one, holistic is better okay I will check it out.

I have been on Keirsey's websites in and out so many times, and it is very complicated for me, I didn't understand anything. So, what is about CFS, this is cronic fatigue sendrome right? I have EBV virus now about four months and will see if past than six months then I probably developed CFS, what is related to mercury?

I will make sure dentist uses something to cover my throat, noise and eyes. Isa, didn't your dentist used some of these the protect you?

Yesterday, I had one of my mercury fillings removed!  Only 4 to go!!

Here's what my dentist did to protect me:

He used a dental dam which prevented any mercury from going down my throat or even getting on my tongue.

There was a cold water spray and suction device used by the dental assistant to clean up debris as the dentist worked.

An oxygen mask shaped especially for the nose was used on my nose, so I did not inhale any mercury vapor as it was being removed from my tooth.

I wore a pair of wrap-around sunglasses to keep powder from flying into my eyes.  If these had been goggles, it would have been even better.

Better yet is to cover the rest of your head/hair with something.

After my dental revisions I would come home and carefully strip my clothes and put them directly in the washing machine and then immediately take a shower to wash off anything that may have settled on me or my clothes.

an oxygen mask was giving you oxygen or just ones doctors covers their mounth and nose with it, which one?

I will make sure next week my dentist would follow those procedures too. I will take off my clothes and take a shower afterwards too. Meantime, I keep eating clantro..

It was a real oxygen mask that supplied oxygen to my nose as I breathed.
Not all dentists have this equipment in their offices.
