Welcome to the BTD Forums.

If you click the Member Center button at the top of this page, then click Avatar Settings on the left side of the new page you will be taken to a page where you can select a blood type avatar.  Having a blood type avatar is an easy way to share your blood type with other forum readers so that they can respond to you in a blood type appropriate way.

You can add information below your avatar setting, such as Rh+/-, MN blood typing information or whatever else you want to, by going to the Profile Information section in the Member Center and typing in the Personal Message box.

You can also create a Signature of any other information you want to share that will go at the bottom of every message you post.

I also encourage you to indicate your gender, age, and location in the world in the Member Center Personal Information section, Signature, or Personal Message box once again so that other members will be able to better respond to you.

ottersfan,

I am sorry to hear about your cancer.

How long have you been trying to follow the BTD?

Have you read the Cancer BTD book? Here is the link to the Cancer book.

Have you considered getting your secretor status tested?

Hi ottersfan,

What books have you read?  Have you read Live Right?  In that book, Dr. D talks about the importance of secretor staus, and the different types of stress reduction strategies that are ideal for each blood type.  You can also read about secretor status in the Tutorial on the web site.

Dr. D also created eight Health Series Books specifically targeting a different health issue.  I recommend along with picking up Live Right, you also pick up the Cancer Health Series Book.  In the Health Series Books, Dr. D breaks foods down into five categories, further refining the diet for optimum health, as well as outlines specific supplement protocols for that condition.

Again, welcome.  Please keep asking questions.  We are all here to help each other with support in this new way of living and eating.

Knowledge is power.  SWAMI gives you the diet that will unlock the key to better health, and it's all based on your unique individuality.

Hello, Ottersfan,
Welcome to the Forum.  After dealing with breast cancer, I am convinced the the BTD is our very best approach to strengthening our bodies to deal with whatever we may each be dealing with.  It is the foundation for everything else that we may do to improve our health and chances of healing.

Dr. D's book on Cancer was a constant companion of mine and I used it for all my meals and supplements.

If you cannot eat a lot of meat, I recommend you get good marrow-filled beef bones, and lamb bones, the purest and cleanest that you can find, and make rich stock by slow cooking them on low heat with lots of vegetables . . for hours.  Then remove the bones, add the marrow back into the stock and then you can puree or blender the liquid.  You can sip this warm as is, or use it as a base for other soups, adding in plenty of vegetables from the Super Beneficial category in the Cancer book.

to stay alkaline drink cherry juice every day and try richly oiled cold water fish like cod and halibut(not farmed) in lieu of meat...

See if you can find Jackfruit...Chinese markets usually carry it canned..this fruit inhibits the tumor producing T antigen

ottersfan-welcome to the forum and the BTD way of life.  Sorry to hear of your cancer.  You have come to the right place.  The above mentioned advice is great and the Cancer book would be your best to follow at this time.  If you cannot find it in your area, pm me with your address and I will send you my copy.  Wishing you all the luck.

Debra

Ottersfan,
One of the more successful natural approaches to treating cancer is with certain mushrooms.  Dr. D also uses them in some of his Protocols.
Please take a look at this formula of 4 diffrent Chinese musrooms, all of which balance the immune system and are potent cancer-fighters.
You can click on each of the individual herbs to read more about them.  I also take this product.  I used it throughout my treatment and continue to take it periodically.

Springer's vaccine or the typhoid vaccine (S. typhi which is manufactured by Wyeth-Ayerst which is a injectable form...do not use the oral form)...it promotes increased amounts of T and Tn antibodies which will help your immune system to spot , pinpoint and help kill the cancer. Dosing schedule is usually two injections, one month apart and a booster recommended every three years. The vaccine is safe for all blood types.
