i've been doing this diet for roughly 14 years... type o non-secretor

after the first week or two off of wheat and dairy i started having severe cleansing reactions mainly in the intestines, passing hardened or black stools, then worms, and now a strong metallic taste and odor to these stool. often this stuff gets stuck in me on the way out since its so dry and toxic. i also have liver/gb congestion so without the bile flow it makes this situation much worse. one thing that helps is eating ALOT of fat to lubricate it out, but theres a limit to how much fat i cant withstand. so the diet seems to be working too well in a sense. this cleansing has been going on for over a decade, and i see no end in sight. i've done alot of liver cleanses, but still haven't restored bile flow.

open to suggestions...

Welcome to the BTD Forums.

If you click the Member Center button at the top of this page, then click Avatar Settings on the left side of the new page you will be taken to a page where you can select a blood type avatar.  Having a blood type avatar is an easy way to share your blood type with other forum readers so that they can respond to you in a blood type appropriate way.

You can add information below your avatar setting, such as Rh+/-, MN blood typing information or whatever else you want to, by going to the Profile Information section in the Member Center and typing in the Personal Message box.

You can also create a Signature of any other information you want to share that will go at the bottom of every message you post.

I also encourage you to indicate your gender, age, and location in the world in the Member Center Personal Information section, Signature, or Personal Message box once again so that other members will be able to better respond to you.

What is your diet like? You might post a typical day's diet for us to see.

Do you use soaked flaxseed/ground flaxseed everyday to help clean your colon?

Do you have any other health issues?

You might read the information on the SensibleHealth.com site and look at some of their products like the Gold Coin Grass.

Also look at ROYAL BREAK-STONE, Chanca Piedra.

14 years is a long time!

how strict are you adhering to your nonnie diet?
do you have the LRFYT book?

i have the book lrfyt. tried chanca piedra once, maybe i should try it again. tried flax didnt help all that much. i can be fairly strict with the diet to no avail. i never get too far from the diet because  i dont do well with the avoid foods. a few years ago i learned i had mercury poisoning. trying to recover from cfs

usually dont eat much in the a.m. since i feel sick or nauseous in mornings. i dont do well drinking alot of water, makes me feel weak. something to do with adrenals dumping sodium prob because of the mercury. prefer not too sweet fruit juices like grapefruit. saunas helped alot with the mercury so far but it doesnt remove it from the intestines so im constantly re-poisoning myself.

i know the next thing someone is going to say is cilantro removes mercury. ive tried it. and i can handle small doses. but cilantro doesnt remove it, it seems to mobilize it, and excretion is my problem not mobilization

I agree with your analysis that mercury is probably the root cause of your problems.

I recommend that you carefully research and decide on a course of action to deal with your mercury problem. I am dealing with this problem now myself. I am using a method that is based on ultra high potency (500-900M) homeopathic organ support remedies. You can PM me if you are interested in finding out more about the approach I am using.

Do you get any exercise?

have you done the stool test for possible celiac or acute gluten intolerance?
tested by Enterolab
http://www.enterolab.com
(stool testing developed by Dr. Fine. This form of testing for gluten is starting to be more well known).

have you checked the allergy book yet?
it might perhaps be eyeopening to your situation and the food advice is much more targeted to the condition, than LRFYT.

when I did a metal detox my chiro had me taking cilantro plus chlorella and some other stuff to attract the metals out of the tissues and lots of fish oil to escort them out the body....for what its worth...he warned me to keep the fish oil high so the stuff would actually leave...I feel it was successful (that was a couple years ago) (I realize fish oil is not the best for O, but sometimes...)

good to know it helps with that 'last push' out of your system!!

apparently the toxins will just resettle back into other tissues if you don't use the fish oil.

I got some phyllanthus (break-stone) capsules from my local Whole Foods grocery, and 2 or 3 bottles later, the jaundiced tinge of many years was gone from my face, and it doesn't hurt to touch my abdomen under the sternum (i.e. near gallbladder) any more. The stuff really works,(for me) along with BTD, even tho I never really figured out my optimal dose for reducing gallstones.
So sorry you're having such a fight with the toxicity. I can only send my best hopes for your getting free of it. Keep asking questions, studying & keepin' on tryin.'
thanks for the tips, jayney-O
