Anyone here who is a Type 1 diabetic (and ONLY a type 1 since type 2 is very different) who has seen improvement with the BTD?

If so, are you able to eat the manna bread, pineapple, mango, sweet potatos, etc. without a huge spike in your blood sugars? Any diet modifications you'e had to make on the type O diet because of the diabetes?

try following the food lists in the diabetes book......
those would be targeted to your needs.

essene bread - (manna) is listed as beneficial with 1 to 6 servings a week.

nevertheless on the next page it says 100% sprouted grain products (except Essene) also under the beneficial column.......(can anyone explain this?)

pineapple is a super beneficial
mango is a beneficial
sweet potato is a beneficial, also......

best advice is you try those from time to time and see how they make you feel.

I believe that the type O beneficial food value for 100% sprouted grain products (except Essene) is an error and that the correct food value should be neutral as it is in the other 6 Health Library books I have.
