Would like to get some opinions on what are the best immune system builders?
Proberry
Ghee
Astragulus   (how would you take this?)
Deflect ?
Polyflora B

I'm inquiring for a friend w/ Fibromyalgia. She is 'gearing up' to do BTD, but IMHO, I think she really needs to concentrate on getting her immune system really strong. She has a respiratory thing going on right now and has for the past couple of weeks. She has hit a wall and is prob going to have to go the antibiotic route, as she feels is she waits any longer, her FM will only flare up worse. Will be sure to advise her on Polyflora after the antib's.
Thanks in advance.

I'm using the reloxa and larch for my respiratory health. But I'm seeing it as a long term thing, not a crisis treatment....I've often heard the herb, elecampane recommended for long term lung care....and astragulus....how about cordyceps, maitake?

If they're looking at NAP products, I'd most probably go with Deflect & Larch but the sooner they just eat right, the better.

For the fibro:  First off, have them get secretor status tested.  This investment is more important that a supplement.  Once they find out their secretor status, I would have your friend concentrate completely on super beneficial and beneficial foods for their type for two weeks.  From either the Arthritis Health Series Book or the Fatigue Health Series Book.  Either one.  After the two weeks, add neutrals, skip everything else.  I could almost guarantee that they will notice a difference before the end of the first week.

Larch is the second supplement listed for Type B's in the Immune Support Protocol.  So, I would recommend that.   I'd also have the individual add Ghee.  Ghee is cheap, and easy to make.

I'd add other supplements as the person's pocketbook allows.  The Type

Knowledge is power.  SWAMI gives you the diet that will unlock the key to better health, and it's all based on your unique individuality.

Proberry caps...which has elderberry which can kill A and B influenza
Ara Plus which has quercitan and Vit C in it...a potent anti-oxidant
Redoxa...which has NAC...studies show that individuals who take NAC are only 1/3rd as likely to get flu symptoms when exposed to the virus as those who don't

take all three and you're smiling through flu season
