I saw a program on public television...I think the guy's name was Mark Hyman? "Nutrigenomics"...a number of alternative nutrition programs on that channel lately during a fund drive. Anyone familiar with this? Also, maybe by a different MD a book with the word metabolism in the title? One of these Drs. was talking about "personalizing" medicine, the way we talk here about Individuality...

Hyman has a book called Ultrametabolism.  It pulls together a bunch of not exactly mainstream ideas about nutrition (like alkalizing, detoxing and I can't think what else right now) to help boost the metabolism.  A friend swears by him.  Interesting for an M.D. to support such things.

Well, I found interesting that he says he teaches MDs these principles and that he has credibility because he's an MD himself...Look, we'll take what we can get. Lola: Be patient. When MDs start coming around, it will be crystal clear who was singing this tune ALL ALONG
