Take Lysine capsules @500 mg. Take 3 per day until it is gone. Buy some lysine salve at the HFS, such as Super Lysine by Quantum company. Put some in a little jar and stir in some powdered licorice (empty some licorice capsules). Gently massage into the blister.
Or if you have a doc that will write you a prescription, get some Acyclovir and take it. This is the fastest way for the short term. |

Was it licorice that Dr. D once said if you put on fever blisters long enough, they will never come back again?
I've never purchased licorice before....so just buy licorice capsules and blend w/ lysine salve and apply? Sorry, I've never purchased either one before!! |

Connect, that's why I suggest just going to your HFS and buying some kind of lysine salve. Lysine is good to discourage the herpes virus anyway, and it's a good carrier for the licorice powder. Later, if you want, you could look into ordering the licrogel, but the quicky technique works also. |

Quoted from ISA-MANUELA
Isa, is Niauli the same as Neroli? And how much Lysine would you recommend to take internally to stop an outbreak? |

nope dearle Niauli is outta the family of melaleuca likewise mhyrre & catjeput but it is muchmore compatible to skinproblems,(antibacteriell, antimycotic, antivirulent) if you delute it you even can take it for vaginaldoushes. Thatswhy I love the mixup between both, Niauli & Lavender, because never you'll have any kind of sideeffects and nobody knows you can take this mixup to stop growing some lymphe or others when you've been hit with whatsoever. Took this to go for Debra's maxi-hit when we entered our home on Samos, she thought she could pick out a whole fenestra, so she tried it but her head was tougher .... Neroli is outta the family of citrus (amara) likewise the bitterorange and is taken for several psychic thingies like fears, and is a super antidepressant , muscle relaxant and is even counted to the sedativa. about Lysine ..hmm all 2 hours 500mg's for 1-2 days |

Thanks, Isa. I have never seen naiuli here in the USA. Do you think Neem oil would do a similiar job? We do have myrrh and caljeput oils. |

Ok, I bought some licorice capsules and some Super Lysine by Quantum. Do I just empty 1 or 2 capsules into the cream and mix it until it's pasty? How often should I apply this concoction Victoria? |

Hi Connect. I'm not sure why Isa disagrees, but she could be right. ? Anyway, what I do is put something like 1 tsp. of the lysine gel into a little glass jar and empty one of the licorice capsules into it. Mix well and apply as many times a day as I can. I keep it with me and use it frequently and it seems to work fast. I have no idea how well it will work if you have a large and active blister, especially if the blister has broken. Maybe that is what Isa is referring to, because I always start using it when I first feel the tingle on my lip and never seem to have an outbreak that way. I've been doing this for quite a long time, and maybe it's the licorice preventing the outbreak from ever happening, as Dr. D said. |

Victoria, I never used L'L. until now as you are mentioning it; only to get off several nasties from internals ...so no big deal ....it's ment to get the imbalance of aminoacids balanced, and this by the way of internal use thatswhy I thought ok for the licorice, but I prefere to work with he oils don't want to conteract against your propositions ...just a way to do .... |

The woman at the HFS said the Quantum Super Lysine salve works wonders for her, so I'm going to try it and see what happens. The active ingredient in the salve is zinc. I mixed it with the licorice, and it seemed to take the burn away. I need some type of conduit to get the licorice to stay on, so I might as well try the salve. I look pretty funny with this brown concoction on my face!
I am also taking 500mg Lysine every 2 hours like you suggested Isa. |
