Hi. I have been having problem on and off with what the doctor's think is acid reflux, it starts out with a feeling like i have a golf ball stuck in my throat and pain in the glands up the right side of my neck. I follow the blood type diet, drink tons of water, exercise well. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has any suggestions? Last time it occured, I was told it was reflux, but did not want to take the prescribed acid blockers, as they are horrible for you and after a month or so it went away and recently it came back again. Thanks, Chelsea

and this happens after eating sugars or carbs?
do you know what triggers it?
how long have you been seriously following this lifestyle? |

thanks for the reply. i have been following the diet for a long time now, I guess about 8 months and the thing is that it's hard to find the trigger because I haven't midfied my diet at all and when it is bad, it seems that just about anything will trigger it, so I am a little at a loss. |

try some separation guidelines for a while, to aid digestion.
grains can go with veg and/or fat meats can go with veg and/or fat beans can go with veg and/or fat fruit is alone eliminate cheese,
That is the standard (safest) separation for beginner Os
you can further fine tune doing a search on the net. . |

You haven't found out your secretor status. Do you eat grains? Are you Rh- or +?
You could be a nonnie and eating foods okay for a secretor but not for a nonnie.
I would like to second Lola's recommendtitons. |

This was my thought too. You may be a nonnie and eating for a sec. If you're a nonnie, changing your diet will help. I had this same thing pre BTD. Totally went away at 100% compliance and in short order, I might add. |

Same here. All acid problems leaving after finding out I'm a nonnie, and changing my diet accordingly! |

My first thought too...secretor status. It can mean all the difference in the world. Try eating like a nonnie and keeping a journal. And...go for the test...IMO. Debra |
