explain how you do that, pls. you mean you add drops of peroxide inside your ear canal?
I tried an eye dropper but it put too much in at once. I dip my Q-tip into the peroxide and let it drip into my ear. I do it a few times. I forgot about the Proberry 3 syrup I also take. Air Borne may have some avoids but it is better than the alternative for me. I took a plane at the end of a cold and couln't hear out of one ear for a week and the other for 2 weeks. I'm leaving on a business trip to NY on Monday and I'll take aire borne before I leave the house and Benedryl right before I board the plane. I'll also chew gum (probably has some avoids in that too). Plus I'll pay the expensive price for bottled water in the terminal (since I can't bring my own any more) so I can be swallowing as we are rising. |

I picked up a box of Air Defender instead of Air Borne this time. They both have similar vitamins & herbs but their “Other Ingredients” are different.
Air Borne: Citric Acid, Soritol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Natural orange flavor, Polyethylene, Glycol, Aspartame, Mineral & Canola Oil, Riboflavin, Phenylketonurics.
Air Defender: Acesulfame Potassium, Citric Acid, Orange Flavor, Potato Starch, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sorbitol |

do you already have the allergy book?
Certainly do. I have been following it, but I guess it takes time. My Chinese doctor says I have poor circulation and need to exercise more. |

I voted 2-3 - same as before. Because even though it seemes to me I have more colds/flus now, they're much lighter and shorter than my regular flus/colds were. Pre BTD I used to smoke 20 cigarettes a day, but didn't cough or anything like that. I had about 1-2 colds a year. They lasted the typical 1 week. I didn't have a flu for 5 years. Since starting BTD a year ago I've had 3 colds and 2 flus. But the colds only lasted 2-3 days, and the flus were so light, I wasn't even sure they were flus! So... |

Thank you for voting. Interesting to observe that big mayority of BTD'rs get max 1 cold per year. Also, most people are reporting shorter colds and less flus. I wonder if it is weaker virus or more resistant bodys In any case it is very good news! Poly, do you still smoke? |

Poly, do you still smoke?
No, I stopped 2 years ago and didn't start again. I know a lot of ex-smokers experience at detox period where they seem to have more colds and flus, and a lot of coughing. I don't recall that to be true in my case, though. I luckily never felt any discomfort when I smoked - thus I didn't feel the promised health improvements, when I stopped, either. Much to the annoyance (and mild amusement) of my co-worker who's the leading stop-smoking-consultant in the county. |

It is rare for me to get colds or flu now. If I feel symptoms coming on, I take better care and the symptoms are gone before too long. I used to catch anything and everything that went around before btd. |

I just now voted here. I chose 0 to 1 because I rarely ever have a cold. Pre BTD it seemed like I was in and out of colds half the time and they would often move into bronchitis. I also had constantly swollen tonsils. My tonsils have not been swollen in nearly 10 years and I haven't had bronchitis in at least a decade.
I might get a short flu once in two or three years, never bedfast with it. |

I don't ever remember having the flu. The militray use to give us the flu shot when we were little. But my dad said it made him and all of use sick. Somehow he got us all out of it. I'd have to have been about 5yrs. I don't remember being sick. (My sister and brother both say they were) I've never taken the shots. My brother takes the shots and still gets the flu ) |

I used to get only the flu about every couple of years, never colds, just sinus trouble. Its been almost 6 years since I've had the flu and about that long when I first began ER4YT blood type diet. |

Since starting the btd in 2003 my allergy problems have almost vanished. This is interesting to me because while my allergies improved when I became a health food advocate in 1977, vitamins and one size fits all nutrition did not end my problems but the btd did. I still pick up a cold virus once or twice a winter, but for the most part they are shorter and milder than they were before. |

I'm on the GTD and just want to say that I have not had even the slightest sniffle or hint of a wisp of a shadow of the potential of a slight suggestion of a cold or flu since starting. When did I start the GTD? Thanksgiving of 2008. So we are talking no cold for three years. Not too shabby! ( Edited to add: All the more impressive when you consider that I have a structurally compromised upper-respiratory system--long story that I'll spare youzzz--and I am therefore MORE likely than the average person on the street to contract colds and upper-respiratory viruses, on account of I don't have the usual filters.) Note: IF I am exposed to GERMS (yeah, I'm a bit of a Howie Mandel, what of it? ) and/or feel slightly run down, I will pop a few Proberry caps, which have elderberry as a main ingredient. They will turn any would-be houseguests of the allopathic germ variety that the GTD itself may let slip in as far as the front gate away, and gently but firmly escort them OFF the property. WINNING! |

I don’t have time right now to read the 65 responses before me because I have to leave for Pilates. I voted 0-1 which holds true for both me & my son. I can sometimes tell that I’ve seen exposed to the germs because I’m a nonnie & don’t combat them until they’re in me. But the effects are so minimal & go away fast that I don’t count that as actually having a cold. I just know when my body is handling it. Other people would not notice the symptoms looking at me. |

I still get 2-3 colds a year, but they are much milder than before. Hayfever symptoms have improved in some ways - barely any itchiness in my eyes, but still getting breathing trouble as of last summer. I do seem to be very sensitive to the air around me and sneeze more than any other person I know regardless of whether I have a cold. Anything can set me off - a change in air temperature, a draft, a hint of perfume or body spray, hairspray, hand cream, dust, a change in brightness even... but there was improvement when we holidayed in Lanzarote - clean fresh air and warm sunshine did seem to help. |

How common, I had only one fever and cold flu after BTD, and It started 1 day after I tried BTD. I was so sick that I blame it because of the BTD. It is because of the BTD. Because Dr D stated that Type O can`t tolerate dietary changes. And said it is normal because your body is eliminating what It needs to eliminate. |
