I generally get 2-3 per year, the same as before, but then again I am not very compliant.
But, I have noticed my colds are much lighter. I have not had the flu since I follow the BTD.
I get very annoyed with colds as my nose waters a lot. I find them very messy. With each cold I do a different treatment and I am still searching for a good solution for preventing and dealiong with them.
They have never gone down to my lungs (never had lung problems even though I was a very heavy smoker for nearly 20 years).

I rarely get colds/flu since BTD-ing. I used to have a good bit of the stuffies, all the time, and would come down with a cold/flu at least 2-3 times a year, if not more. I can't even remember the last time I had the flu...I rarely get sick being around the DH when he's got a cold either. BTD rocks!
I rarely get colds or sick anymore - and that's even with my not being all that compliant lately I recover from things much more quickly.
I used to constantly be stuffy and now I'm only stuffy when I have avoids - especially dairy - I can count on the stuffy dairy nose every time - but it clears up quite quickly once I'm back to better compliance.

Well, I am not sure if I cold or it's allergies acting up. Since a couple of years ago, I got allergies. I watch my diet and there seems to be some improvement since I've started taking Chinese herbs, but I still have chronic sinusitis. I predict the same number of colds as last year, however, I suspect I will have more energy and recover faster.

do you already have the allergy book?

Depends on my funds. Can I afford the immune boosters recommended to me? How can I not?
I spent a lot of time last year sick. This year, utilizing my expertice, and funds, I have fought off three episodes of flu, virus, and infection. But hey, I am 50, and used to smoke. I also have had a severely accelerated immune system sicne I was a little girl, because of I am sure, of improper diet.
I intend to not be sick at all this year. I do know what to do.
What good news to start the day with! Everyone seems to be doing much better.
I am even more grateful to Dr. D. and people that have voted/posted their results as this morning my husband said that last year, on his first cold, when I recommended the ”cold pack” from NAP he ended up with the longest, most complicated cold. What!
Nonsense! He did not last more than a day. And that I am sure of, and the proof is that the packs (except proberry’s) are still full as I did not use them because I did not get a cold last year. Well done proberry! He soon took a heavy pharmaceutical treatment which he followed up with injections. Actually the bad cold was one he got 15 days after the 1st one. It was really bad and I am convinced it was the first one leaving him too weak.
Needless to say, he is not BTD compliant. Actually, he and his family are constantly rubbing off their “good” health on me. No problem, I am now happy with BTD and the results I read here are most encouraging. Thank you for sharring.
I'm a bit like Yaman in having at least two viruses a year after not having any for a number of years before btd. BUT the good news for me is that they are less severe, (if as long, unfortunately).
I hardly had any cold/flue for about twenty years pre-BTD. However, I happen to fight cold/flu twice a year now.
Perhaps my immune reactions are increasing
Or maybe I'm a little negligent about adjusting to the weather, now that I feel so great upon BTD'ing
Cheers, Yaman
When I saw the photos from Samos I could not help noticing the smell of a wonderful cigar. I wondered what were its effects with BTD?
I thought that because with BTD we are stronger, your body would react better. Considering your results, perhaps that is what it is doing even though you throw my wonderful statistics out of perfection.
Or, stop stepping on those puddles. Besides, what are people going to say when they see you stepping on the puddles with a cigar! It is not good advertising for the effects of BTD on the brain. I hope you do them at separate times.
On a serious note, I can not understand why you would be getting more colds. I hope someone can share some light.

Eh, do you do naughty things like Yaman?
I really wonder why both of you now gets colds when you hardly did so before. Ohh! I do hope someone shares some light.
I don't know how many less with being on BTD...but I think its' much better than before also since I quit smoking..wow..what an improvement ...and of course all the Vit.C I am taking daily

I used to have several colds( 6-10 pr year) - turning into nasty earinfections - and about 1 -2 flues a year. The last 6 years I have had almost no colds- and not even a flu every year.
I do get some cough still- but the sinus, fever - sore throat is gone and I seem to get better faster !.
My daughter is a prime BTD ( even with just a 75 -80 % BTD complience) - she is sick so rare that when she finally gets down- her teachers get really worried ! BUT I have noticed lately that the teenlife put extra presure on her health and she seem to be less healthy than 1-2 years ago- so we have started to prepaire for winter

I've already had two viruses this year - one of them a bad flu but it was not as intense as my pre btd flu. Honestly, me no complain about btd.
As for my naughty habits...I don't smoke, nor am I a passive smoker. I am a passive drinker, however.
In my case I think it is becasue I'm now living in a balmy climate in a typically uninsulated Australian bungalow that is absolutely frigid in winter. In order to warm my bones during winter, I have to step outside in the morning. eh
Since we are on the subject I have a few further questions.
Definition of common cold & flu:
A virus (and there are hundred of different strains) that attaches to the membranes of the throat and respiratory passages. Influenza/flu is a more serious variety of the virus. (from BTD Enciclopedia)
Am I correct by writing: When individuals report less cold/flu incidence it means the immune system is working well and thus the virus does not attach itself to the membranes?
Now, am I correct by writing that when the immune system is not working well, at least in the throat and respiratory passages, or these areas are weaker for some reason, the virus attaches itself to the membranes and so one gets the symptoms of a cold/flu.
“The symptoms of a common cold or flu are miserable, but they are actually a sign that your immune system is trying hard to fight off the offending virus.” (BTD Enciclopedia)
Also, am I correct by writing that if the symptoms of a cold/flu are shorter it is because the immune system has fought the virus faster and, if the symptoms are lighter it is because the immune system is in better shape; not strong enough to prevent the virus from adhering but good enough to fight it faster.
When Dr. D mentions in the Enciclopedia: “your immune system is trying hard to fight off the offending virus.” Does he mean the Immune system stops the expansion of the virus or it makes it dye sooner?

I think I need a candida cleanse and better get my act in gear. Right now I feel like a cold is coming on but it could fade away. I'm always sniffling. ick I was that way before BTD also. I would get a cold and it just wouldn't go away. I'd be at the dr. being checked for mono, etc. Now, they don't last as long - thank goodness.

Cr*p. I read the poll wrong and thus voted wrong (what can I say, I'm a Florida voter! I'm challenged!). I thought it said zero to one per year, so I voted that. Ooops, it was saying zero to one less or equal than before. WRONG!
I usually don't get any colds per year now. At most, I'll get one. But usually it is on a biannual cycle at most now. I think at the moment I'm going on three years without one. All the more impressive because, due to some upper-respiratory structural butcherdom I have going on, an ENT told me that I am more likely than most pups to basically get colds all the time. Well, between the BTD and being in Florida, I almost never get 'em. This would be the time of year I'd normally get one, but nope. Nada. Zip. Yay!
(sorry I voted wrong and scr*wed up the poll...us Floridians should be banned from voting in anything...we still have one contested election down here, but that is more a Diebold voting machine and/or massive-n-vast conspiracy thing versus voter error *lol*)

Pre-BTD I had bronchitis, sinusitis and sinus everything all the time!! (I think this is a big big factor in my adrenal failure) I had colds but rarely the flu. Now, bronchitis is virtually a thing of the past. Most sinus is too unless I cheat, mainly w/ dairy. Still no flu. Sometimes I feel poopy if I eat something I shouldn't, but I always know what that is from! IF I start feeling poopy, I immediately start heavy w/ the beef, bennie veggies and some proberry and off it goes!! Yes, I agree, BTD rocks!!
Now that I think back - when I was younger - in high school/college I almost always got either strep throat or ear infections with every single cold - thankfully that is a thing of the past. I will get touches of what I feel like is a cold or headachy when I eat avoids but then as soon as I am compliant again things clear up quickly.

This and what I said here: "IF I start feeling poopy, I immediately start heavy w/ the beef, bennie veggies and some proberry and off it goes!! "
Well, I think both of these statements say alot. What you eat can affect you both sooooo negatively and positively. Funny how quickly getting compliant can help you get well and the majority of the people in the world have no clue about this. Sadly, nor do they have a clue that what they're eating makes them sick in the first place. I'm not so much talking about junk food here, but in general, the foods that are avoids for your BT.
