Hi all,

Friday night at 2 am I had burning chest pain that went up to my right neck and down my right arm.    I had no avoids that day. I did have coffee with soy milk and chocolate. This lasted for 4 hours. I had either chicken or salmon with pinto beans or black beans for lunch and dinner. I have had this before but not as severe. I ended up taking mylanta and a tums though by that time at 2 am it started to subside on its own.

I have a cyst on my liver. I am thinking liver or gallbladder. I started a Renew Life liver cleanse. I have tried the olive oil type cleanses in the past and have become really ill.

I am staying away from beans for now and am doing food combining. I am also decreasing the amount of fat I eat and will have at least one grain meal a day.
For breakfast I had cooked roasted buckwheat with onions, spinach and zuccini and some cultured veggies. I also had green tea. I am also starting to take betaine hydrochloride with meals.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks so much,
June

Let me know how your Renew Life Liver Cleanse works for you.  I use their other products but haven't tried a liver cleanse yet.

Thanks Tomatilla,

I have an appointment for this afternoon at 3:30. I called an advice nurse and she also said a heart attack for women could be on the right side. I will see ther doctor this afternoon and request an EKG and blood tests.

Take care,
June

June, Let us know if the tests shed any light on the problem.

Probably digestive related, but you're doing the right thing to get a diagnosis to be on the safe side!

I went to the MD and he says he doesn't think that its heart related. Because my Dad died of a MI and my Mom had some silent ones I will be having a stress test next week.

Thanks for your concern.

Good news so far, June!

Does this feel like acid reflux or any kind of "heartburn"?

I am reminded of a very few times in my life, I have had an air bubble press upward at the top of my stomach.  It was such intense pain that I was on my hands and knees.  I have discovered that if I lie on each side for a minute and then get on hands and knees, and then repeat on each side, and hands and knees, I will eventually burp or move it on down into my stomach so the pain subsides.

I have had the stress test and ekg, and it's not heart related.

june, I once had such a terrible pain in my chest (left side) that I was a little  .  It ran all the way up into my shoulder area. The DH said it was gas. ??????????????   But I thought, well, what the heck, couldn't hurt, so I took some gas med. Sure enough, a little time later, the pain was gone. Guess it was pressing on something that was shooting pain upwards in my body. Glad you're having yours checked out tho.

Before I found out I had H.pylori bacteria that is exactly the kind of pain I had. And it was very frightening thing to go through. After having my heart checked out and many many tests later we dug a little deeper and focused the attention to the digestive system. Good luck. Hope all works out for you.

Thanks everyone for all of your responses. I think that I have a very delicate GI system and I had foods that were hard for me to digest that evening. We will see. I had a test done for h.pylori since I have had that before and for liver stress and digestive ability as well. The stress test is next Thursday.

Take care,
June

HI all,

I just had my stress test. What an experience! I was hooked up to an EKG. Then I was on a treadmill which they inclined more and more and increased the speed. I could barely keep up and my heart was pounding so I told them to stop. My heart went up to 155 beats per minute and was totally normal. I'm quite happy about that.

Thanks for your concern,
June
