I know to avoid them, but what was I to do. I was at the Fairbanks International waiting for my flight home to Tacoma and knew it would be at least 7 or 8 hours before I could get home. I needed to eat.
I looked over the menu and couldn't find much. I chose the gyro without the pita and got three skinny slices of lamb gyro meat on a piece of some type of lettuce, two slices of tomato, some onion and something that didn't closely resemble tzatziki sauce and a mess of french fries.
I hadn't eaten a fry since 2004. I knew the lamb wasn't my best choice, but seriously, the menu was not Type A friendly enough for me. I originally ordered the veggie omelet but was told breakfast was over.
Given the choice of going without food for 8 hours more or eating something I had already paid for, I ate it... fries and all. I did refrain from ketchup... why add vinegar and more nightshades to the party?
Now I have a lumpy rash on the palm of my right hand and the knuckles of my left hand ache. Both symptoms are typical reactions for me when I just can't seem to avoid anything from the nightshade family, usually tomato. From experience I know the rash will last up to a month and the achy joints may persist for several days. It's not debilitating, just annoying.
I'm wondering if anyone knows a remedy for this.

Cybrtooth,
Do you have any Deflect readily available? Taking some Deflect may help with your symptoms; and perhaps trying the detox protocol from the Encyclopedia.
And as always, I would encourage you to stay consistent and compliant as much as possible...especially favoring beneficial food choices.

No - I keep forgetting to order it, but that is a great idea for when I'm on the road.
I looked up the detox protocol and need to slap myself upside the head! I always forget to do the dry skin brushing. I should make my brush a mandatory item I pack along. I need to do some shopping so will pick up what I need.
I do try hard to stay on a "bene binge" for example I even eat lots of bene veggies for breakfast... sauteed broccoli, onions, mushrooms, carrots and garlic with my eggs is my breakfast of choice. It's when I'm on the road I have a hard time. |

I have an extra body brush and grapeseed oil in a small container that stays in my travelling bag for when I am out of town. That way I never forget it. No matter how much lecithin I take. Debra |

good idea and I do have an extra body brush. Thanks!
I keep a food box in the car, but this was our first travel by air for work. I even have ghee in the box as well as green tea and sea salt and anchovies and canned wild salmon. By car, I'm good to go.
I found air travel a challenge. I used to have a "restaurant" bag in which I carried sea salt and EVOO, but I left it in a restaurant. I don't normally carry a purse as we aren't allowed to on the job. I may have to rethink this and maybe load up a fanny pack. |
