Hi. I am having more constipation issues the last few days. I got this bread that is a sourdough bread from Canada. The ingred are brown rice flour, deep well water, ground flaxmeal, sea salt. Anyway, it is a gluten-free sourdough and is delicious. But, can the flax cause constipation? I have been eating brown rice, brown rice crackers, and have not had any constipation issues, but have not eaten the flax.
What do I need to do? I am 14 weeks preg today. When I go to the bathroom, it is hard and clumpy, ball-like. Help!!
Also, how much water should I be drinking per day? Maybe I'm not getting enough.

You will want to drink more water if you are consume dry ground flaxseed since it will absorb some. |

Okay, I have been eating TOO MUCH of the bread since we got it a couple days ago! Now that you asked that, I realize it is too much! I've probably had 4 - 6 slices a day... I know that is too much, but it is so easy to throw a couple pieces of bread on a plate, not having to prepare anything. Yikes. I better revamp this a bit. I bet that is the prob, quantity. What do ya think? Blushing with embarrassment, Tina |
