Funny enough, I almost never had flu, and maybe got cold a few times, for about 20 years before BTD.
Yet for the last four years or so, I am having to fight a serious flu once a year, and one or two common cold as well. I used to think that was because I was getting older. Now it makes me think whether my immune system after being reinforced by BTD, reacting more viciously to the invaders

There is a bunch of background on this Influenza A -Spanish Flu H1N1 "Le Gripe" or "La Grippe" {or 'fiebre de tres dias or 'fiebre de Flandes' in Spanish}- however, a couple points to bear in mind is that the first victims to this Flu were on an army base in US, and it was 'created' by a medical team in London. Created may not be the right word but the release of their work coincides with the second-phase of the Flu. Not only was this on BBC last winter I had the name of the group written down from previously reasearching these flus...of course when you need'em you can't find'em.

the previous day a dead swan had been found to have the H5N1 strain of bird flu in Scotland. Elderberry products may be a better approach, than Echinacea, in combination with selenium, zinc and olive leaf. For someone with flu, the recommended dosage for an elderberry product such as Proberry liquid is 4 tablespoons (15 ml) 3 times per day.

Just be aware that elderberry at this dose WILL require that you have constant access to a TOILET! Hopefully, if you're sick w/ the flu you'll be at home, close to a toilet, and this minor (depending on the circumstances) consideration won't be a problem!
