Hi all, I want to know if anyone has had success in shrinking uterine fibroids, especially TYpe A. I have some cramping, but not as bad as I used to have since I take anti-inflammatory oils like fish oil and evening primrose. I am 50 years old and have not gone through menopause yet. I also had breast cysts but those seem to have gone with a change in diet and getting rid of intestinal infections. Thanks so much, June |

Thank you for your responses. I will find out more about neprinol, I need to make sure the enzymes aren't made from mold or I will have a terrible reaction. I am extremely sensitive to mold and yeast. Wouldn't taking Bromelain inself,(which I just ordered), help as well? I am decreasing my intake of animal protein to only once daily per BTD guidelines as well. I did ok with buckwheat today for breakfast and had a lentil stew for dinner. It also seems that polyamines are implicated and I just ordered proberry caps which should also help. Also would it be helpful to take deflect? Thak you for your help, June |

Thank you all. I will research Neprinol to make sure that none of the enzymes are made from aspergillus fermentation or I will have a terrible reaction. I also saw something calles Vitalzyme for fibroids. Anyone have experience with that? Wouldn't Bromelain help? I just ordered that as well as proberry caps which helps with polyamines. Thanks for your help, June |

A homeopath I go to recommends castor oil packs for fibroids, ovarian cysts and uterine polyps.
You can google castor oil packs but basicly it is a piece of white cotton flannel, folded 2 or 3 times soaked in castor oil and placed on lower abdomen from pubic bone to lower ribs. Cover this with a sheet of plastic and apply heat. Leave on for 1 hour. You can do this everyday for 4-6 weeks an see if it helps. You may not want to do this during your period it may cause a heavier flow. |

Tomatilla it wouldn't do any good to say because as you probably know classical homeopathy is suited to each individual person. That same homeopath could very well choose a different remedy for you than for my sister and each of you would have good results. |

I have heard of Vitex (Chaste Tree) being used to prevent and/or shrink fibroids and benign cysts. This is something I've never tested or researched, but check out the google sites:
I was unable to cut and paste the link. Try entering Vitex chaste tree fibroids into Google. A lot of sites come up. |

Ahora lo estoy confirmando 'avoid' en el libro Fatigue and Alergias Isa dou you know: Is Shepherd's Purse avoid or beneficial for AB? because I find avoid in Fatigue and Alergies Book but in the link said that is beneficial for uterine fibroids |
